Tomei Vs. Fast intentions

Who makes more hp? Same exact setups across the board. I know weight is better with tomei but I'm talking power.

IMO... You will not be able to beat F.I.. To me they are the best bang for your buck!

They sound amazing, make good power, look good and to boot you cannot not find any better customer service then they will give you (hands down)...:driving:

I agree with Wonka, however if you are looking to be the loudest car in a 10 block radius I would go with the Tomei. The quality of the exhaust is good and sounds amazing. Only gripe I have with it is that it hangs low and the cutout on the Z is for a dual design instead of a single.

Question is who makes more gains guys. I don't care about customer service or sound. Hell I already have Meisterschaft I'm just trying to figure this out.

I have FI and it's louder than the Tomei......and it makes more power.

just saying.

FI FTW

FLUJOKE 11-02-2015 01:03 PM

FI is not louder and everyone knows that. What are the numbers you're comparing to?

my FI is louder. trust me. rode around with someone running tomei and I drowned him out lol

numbers wise on FI's threads they have breakdowns of Avg's for each one of their set-ups that you can reference.

Link?

Your not going to gain a significant about of horsepower from one exhaust to another. If you want power go boost or build your motor.

FLUJOKE 11-02-2015 01:07 PM

Not what I'm asking. Don't boost stay N/A Forever

Cheers, im staying NA myself, different dynos read different, you have to put into account altitude, humidity, etc.. so places tomei may yield more gains, some places they might be even, some places fi might yield more.

Spstone 11-05-2015 09:50 PM

Either way if you do not address the cats as well your gains are going to be limited.

FLUJOKE 11-05-2015 09:53 PM

Yes everyone knows that but what are the gains in the two exhausts?

if you already have FI LTHs then just go get the FI CBE.

end thread.

njobe89 11-06-2015 10:07 AM

you can't really say that your FI is louder than tomei, because you don't have a true FI exhaust lol. you have straight pipes. :D

only reason i don't like tomei is, because it's a single exhaust and this car just looks weird with one exhaust. now if they made dual, i'd consider getting one.

and as stated, exhausts usually make the same power 1-2whp + / -
