Custom intake manifold
So I just got the word from my shop Moore Performance that they are working with an engineer and want to use my car as a test car for a custom intake manifold. Its in the early stages and the car wont get fitted until late winter but it is starting. The plan is cast aluminum for the manifold with the option to expand to a turbo setup. Ill probably get custom carbon fiber intakes made while its in there because the engineer loves the VQ and likes to work with carbon fiber. Subscribe and ill post info as I get it :)

sadly our last regular meet was this past Saturday followed by a Kart outing. 10/31 we are doing a trunk or treat show at quaker steak in cranberry. basically small show where we put out bags of candy for kids and do a mini trick or treat thing. it's very big and the Z is towards the bottom of the totem pole of what shows up lol. I used to go once in a blue moon to starlite with my dad or the mustang club but didn't even make it out there this year. |

the regular cars and coffee is always a treat. there's some cars you'd never think to see in this area that come out. P1, F40, lambos galore, GT-R nismos, every flavor of Ferrari, etc... check out the pics on the site or youtube Pittsburgh cars and coffee and a million vids come up. even had my Z featured on DoctaM3's channel lol back on topic for a sec: let me know when moore makes some headway with the intake and CF pieces. if they look good and make some power I may have to buy it. :tiphat: |

There were no Z's there lol. You woulda been a rockstar

I would venture to say that if it is stronger than the stock plastic, people will buy. There are plenty of turbo (and twin turbo) guys out there that want a metal, carbon, or stronger than ABS plastic intake plenum/manifold for boost.
I'm trying to hold out for CJM, but I would entertain others if the quality of spot on. |

silly jwick lol |
Our dyno reads lower than most dynos in our area. Most read around 10-20hp more even on a Mustang dyno which does not compute. Also each car is different. We have had a couple of header installed cars that only make around 320rwhp.

I dont have a baseline dyno so I cant even say anything:icon14: I dont see why matching intake, tb, and manifold wouldnt net 30+. The stock mani is like 4 different sizes and step downs

Any bolt-on mod that would give NA guys 20 whp on top of all the normal bolt-ons would be very popular. Hope this works out and goes to market.
