I would also tape up along the edges of the head lights and fenders where your bumper might come in contact and scratch the car. Other than that it's an easy task. If you have the oiled type K&Ns, you'd need to pick up a bottle of intake cleaner and oil to clean the filter and re apply the oil. They sell the kit at autozone ~15 or so.

Yeah, it's called K&N Recharger Kit.

When you wash the filters. Let them dry completely. Don't use compressed air. You might tear a filter. Use a shop vac to remove the water.

Don't over oil the filters. Spray one even light coat of oil over them. Too much oil. And the oil will travel all the way to the throttle bodies.
