Questions about stock intake resonator

I'm thinking about removing the intake tube resonator for the 370z, but is the sound difference noticeable? What are the options as far as sealing the hole? I know I can replace the hose but I'd like to keep it a factory look.

Questions about stock intake resonator

I just Installed the post Maf tubes (which removed the resonator on the drivers side) and I really don't hear a difference. I also don't have a loud exhaust either, so I think I would've heard it.

yea its next to nothing audible. post MAF tubes is better than cutting into fatory and trying to plug up too

I agree, plus if you get black ones, they look pretty much stock.

Here you go.

FYI!!

If you use them on a oem intake?

You will need to use a hose fittings to connect the silicone hoses to the intake.

These were designed for folks with aftermarket intakes/tubes.

Seems like no real benefit for this mod. I'll pass :)
