Short tails + TPs?
 

im sure someone just said "oh god another thread" but I've yet to find an answer lol. So I got on some short tails on my z but I'm wanting to go louder. My question is, will TPs decrease the amount of sexy being released from my short tails or will it increase? The short tails alone sound great but I'm wanting it to be louder, but I don't want it to be an obnoxious loud, but more of an aggressive. What can u guys recommend?

A local has a set of short tails with TPs. VERYYY loud. Way too loud for my taste.

Yeah louiey, the second you add TP's.. it gets obnoxious if they arent resonated and even still.. its very loud.

And theres videos out there, you just have to find em!

I actually just finished installed my "top speed" test pipes while also have the AAM short tails. I'll be honest it's loud as hell but it sounds so aggressive. And there's a bit of rasp but it's tolerable.

I want it To be an aggressive loud. The louder the better but I feel the louder the more obnoxious

I went with the Ark resonated HFC+Nismo H+short tails. its loud but doesn't have the rasp. I can cruise and be mild and mash it and get loud.

Test pipes will make it quite loud.

If you want louder, get an LS3 with a G6-XX cam and full open exhaust. You'll have to wipe the blood from your ears. Giggidy!

Jesus I need to work on my spell check. I sound like that foreign kid from That's 70's show. In any case, I think I got it where it's borderline thin from being obnoxious. I'm pretty happy with it. Especially when you drive in low rpms you don't hear it much. Just when you down shift and really put your foot down does it really show its true colors.
