FI Non res vs resonated CBE

I'm running the LTH's, 12" resonators, and CBE. There is a slight drone between 2500 to 3000 rpm. In the video. I have the mike taped between the exhaust tips.

I have nonres with BP kit like Jwick. I honestly think the car is too loud. Ity sound really nice but loud. I kind of want to hear a 12" or 18" in person. Hell, I'm even willing to swap the X pipe with someone for a week just to hear the difference.

Thanks matt. Rusty, the link says the video doesn't exist.

Anyway, I just sorting out some details with Kevin at FI. He's advised that I go 18" resonators, which I am. Just going to find out how much it would cost exactly to get the system out when it reaches me, Customs can be a pain and apparently they open all boxes to check the contents, and charge a tax on it. A mate was charge an extra 20% of the cost of a body kit before they released it to him. Just getting my facts before I place my order. Hopefully, it's as reasonable as Kevin approximates. If not, I'm emigrating to the US.

The video may be blocked for your country. I've had that happen to a couple videos of mine.

It sounds mean, but it sounds mean with an O-ring/exhaust leak somewhere, or a flex pipe caused sound? Or is this because of where the MIC was installed?

Please advise...

The hiss comes from removing the stock catalytic converters. The sound is always there, but it's normally muffled by the stock cats. When removed (with long tube headers, test pipes, or sometimes with high-flow cats), the hiss becomes much louder.

There is no leaks in that exhaust.

A little update and advice. Always check Duties and Tax when shipping international. Kevin at FI has been a star in communicating with me. I checked with UPS SCS in my country. The total to get the FI TDX w/ 18" rezzies to me is about $2400. Sales tax and duties on my end is

Checking with another company which imports parts from the US all the time. Hoping they can bring it in for me. For some reason they take much longer to respond than FI, and they're in the same timezone as I am

Tell your passengers the car is turbo'd. Never heard a hiss that loud before. Guess it must be the LTH. It sounds like an Aston Martin though

with y mufflers off and less back pressure my "hiss" is extreme lol

it's funny at shows/meets when I catch people under my car or in my hood searching for the turbos

When I do trackdays. Guys there say I have one of the best sounding cars there. Driving the car, I don't hear the hiss at all.

gomer_110 has FI LTH's and non-res CBE. His car sounds wicked. I am not sure how loud the car is but from his video's in the track section, it's not bad at all. Shove a pair of Jun cams in it and it would really sound incredible. 1slow370's car had a heck of a sound when he yacked the throttle on his car. It almost makes me want to go NA. No joke.
