15-16 nismo exhaust
 

The 09-14 nismo exhaust was manufactured by autech... The 15-16 are now made by HKS... Has anyone weighed the new one and possibly tell a tone difference?

Both the same, just a different provider.

You KNOW it was manufactured by Autech? Or you're guessing? Because I don't remember seeing Autech anywhere on it.

Also, some say the HKS sounds different

that would be a hell of a specific guess...Ive seen it before on other nismo mufflers and some pics online

NISMO 370 mufflers prior to 15-16 are made by AUTECH,,,,, better

How do you know that though? That's what I am asking. I'm just curious, my Nismo didn't say anything on it, and I don't recall Autech being brought up here.
If anything Weldina is more probably because they made the S-tune

last i remember seeing was atleast from 10-14....unless your plate fell off lol

Not my Nismo originally, it was a 2010 I think...

My 2013 Nismo exhaust has a plate on it that clearly says Autech. I can snap a picture if you want as it is off my car.

What is funny is that where is says autech it's got light corrosion on it. Also it's lightly engraved versus the serial numbers. It's plausible looking at mine that over time it would wear off. I'm trying like mad to get the Autech to photograph on iPhone and it's hard to see no matter how I shoot it.
