Question for the 370z owners with an aftermarket exhaust

so i was wondering if you guys that have upgraded your exhaust can you still hear the clunkiness of the clutch? or does the exhaust sound overwhelm it. the clutch

Default Question for the 370z owners with an aftermarket exhaust

so i was wondering if you guys that have upgraded your exhaust can you still hear the clunkiness of the clutch? or does the exhaust sound overwhelm it. the clutch is driving me crazyyyyy so i was wondering if all the sounds would go away if i were to upgrade my exhaust?

You drive a sports car it's going to make sounds but to answer your question it will reduce some of the noises but not mask them completely. Depends how loud of an exhaust you get.

If there's anything wrong with my clutch, it would be in feel, not sound. My Nismo exhaust does little to nothing in making the "clunky" feel of 1st->2nd any better.

ya know, i've grown quite fond of that clunky clatter I make when shifting from 1st to 2nd, music to my ears.

I can still hear the clutch sound from first to second at times, but frankly I am used to it and I'm more focused on the sound of the exhaust note which I truly enjoy and the rest of the total experience of driving my Z.

Sounds like a true sports car to me. Just rev a little higher in 1st and you won't be thinkin about the sound anymore
