I would stick with high flow cats, just as good of gains almost.
Are you sure the stillen gen 3 will not fit? The Injen have shown some nice gains and a good upgrade.

test pipes over hfc's will net you a whopping 2 to 3 more hp...stick with hfc's...

Test pipes last like forever, hfc don't
test pipes have a few ponies more
test pipes are cheaper priced compared to hfc

so get the test pipes

He may just want to wait for long tube headers then.

Unfortunately you are one of the first/early Nismo owners doing upgrades so you might be doing the testing yourself.

I was under the impression that the Stillen Gen 3 would fit on the Nismo? If not that definitely blows.... If anyone knows someone who has tried it I'd like some more info.

The other upgrade I had in mind first was some Berks or other HFCs. No thanks for the test pipes, I live in a townhome, so the neighbors will thank me lol.

Long tube headers would be awesome

Also, EVERY time I go for a fast accelleration pull getting on the highway or something I want a lightweight flywheel more.

I'm looking into either the Berk or F.I. HFC to go along with my Nismo exhaust as well. Probably December timeframe.

All the CAIs that fit on the regular 370 will fit on the nismo...not sure where this not fitting s**t is coming from - same with all the exhaust btw.

Agreed. I have no reason to swap out the factory cats for high-flow ones. Test-pipes are significantly cheaper, lighter, and will produce more power.

On the Stillen website, it clearly points out in the description of the G3 Intakes that it does not fit the Nismo 370z (same thing for the 350z intake and their nismo). Not sure if this is just a precaution to avoid figment problems or a proven fitment issue with the Nismos.

Would this mean that short ram intakes would fit though? Isn't that significant reduction in hp/torque compared to long tube intakes?

I wonder if there's been any word yet on the Nismo CAI.
