New exhaust and smells sweet

Hello there!

I got new exhaust from Invidia on my z and there was a white smoke from muffler for first few days. Now, white smoke is gone. I thought it happened because new. Problem for now, after turn off the engine, I can smell something sweet from tailpipe. I found it can occured from coolean leak? not sure. Can you guys know what can be the problem and if problem belongs to new exhaust, can I ask to shop where installed new exhaust to repair? Thanks.

I checked level of coolean and it is between max and min.

It's a possibility. Coolant in the exhaust is (white) steam. Oil vapor is bluish and gasoline (running rich especially without a cat) is black puff.

Diagnosing something like this over ASCII is a shot in the dark. All I can say is wait until after a few hundred more miles to see if the coolant level dropped some more. Check when the engine has cooled down for several hours; preferably in the morning after sitting overnight.

For a better diagnosis, bring it to a competent and experienced mechanic.

There is no problem that is normal with new exhaust. Keep driving the car after a few days or so the smell would be gone.

My Stillen did that too, and on my last car it did it also. Especially if the muffler is fiberglass filled.
