Question Question on K&N Air Filter Fitting Issue

I purchased K&N Air Filters for my 2014 370z. When they arrived, they simply did not fit in the space available. I have used K&N Air Filters on all other family cars for years with no issues and I was very surprised. If you have a suggestion for another brand of filter to use, please share as I would like to upgrade from the factory units that came with the car. Thank you!

The K&N filters are definitely more snug than the stock ones. Another popular brand that a lot of members use is aFe.

What is the part number for the K&N that you ordered? Not to insult anyone, but did you get the correct part?
Is the same number for the 350Z and the 370Z, PN 33-2399.
I had them since I had my 350 and they went straight into the 370. A bit snug but not so much of a deal. Once in place they were flat against the filter housing, so is not like they were "bent" or "improperly installed" once in place.

OP - they are def more snug than the factory filters but I just put a set of K&Ns drop-ins on my car a week ago and they fit fine. Pay attention to how the stock ones come out and put the K&Ns in the same way.
