Used exhaust questions (Fast Intentions)
I don't know jack sh*t about exhaust setups, or how to identify them, so I would like to ask you guys. I found this from a seller and i might buy them
Fast Intentions high flow cats and axel back mufflers (no mid pipe) Now my questions are: How loud will these be? How much HP gain will these be? How much would you pay for them? |

The high flow cats are FI, but the are not part of the exhaust. It's a separate item.
The other part is not FI. It is not the full exhaust. I think they are called short tails (made by several manufactures) and are meant to replace the muffler section of the stock exhaust. I think the combination of short tails and FI HFC would make for a pretty loud set up. FI exhaust is a cat-back exhaust (everything from cats back). It should include a mid-pipe (with various size resonators), muffler cans and the tips. I recommend you do some research in the exhaust section.

You should check FI site for the price of those cats brand new and verify how many miles are on them then make the decision of what u feel comfortable paying. I would get short tails brand new. And like cooltoy said that's going to be really loud.

They'll be loud for sure. You're removing the muffler section. HP gains? Not sure there is even any from the short tails.
You'll prob gain 5-10hp from those high flow cats.

Just remove your stock muffler, if you want to get an approximate idea of how it will sound.

My guess, and I am not an expert, that it would probably sound something similar to these.
