HKS HI-POWER exhaust installed and review

First off, I have to thank Lou and his crew from Amplified motorsport for hooking it up with prices and installing the parts for me (since i had back surgery not too long ago). They honestly have the best prices on top notch parts. So thank you Lou for your help and it was great meeting everyone at the Amplified BBQ. Lou hooked me up with a stillen oil cooler kit, HKS hipermax III coilovers and HKS HI-POWER cat back. i havent done the HFC yet and wanted to but couldnt at that time, so the HFC will be installed shortly. so, ill start here with the exhaust review and ill post the other reviews in my journal.
So i bought, and had installed the HKS HI-POWER cat back by Amplified. when they first opened the box with the exhaust, i was like  This exhaust is seriously no joke and is a very beautiful piece, almost too good to put on a car. the welds are beautiful, and the finish on this exhaust is just unbelievable. i was obviously very happy of the style of the exhaust.
Amplified finished installing everything and took the car for a test drive to make sure everything was perfect. They came back from the test drive and said they heard a weird "grinding" like sound. so back on the lift it went and found the brace between the two resonators was against the driveshaft. ( I guess the hks exhaust was fitted on a non-sport 370z which doesnt have the limited slip diff which is smaller than the sport equipped with limited slip). so amplified used lower hangers and clears fine as of now with a lot of ground clearance, even with the new HKS coilovers installed. A phone call to HKS by Lou will be taken monday to confront HKS about this minor problem and when fixed hopefully give me the proper resonator pipes with a brace fitted for sport equipped Z's. In no way or form did amplified know about this and is helping me 100% with this problem, its just HKS made a minor mistake which can be easily fixed.
As for the note of the exhaust, honestly, in my opinion, the best sounding exhaust for the z, at least to my ears. I dont have HFC and the HKS exhaust could be a bit louder, (the exhaust note will get louder when i install the hfc's). Very deep, no rasp at all, very exotic sounding. i fell in love all over again and very very very happy with the exhaust note. when inside the car and driving it is very quiet with absolutely no droning, even when you get on it hard. Amplified is in the LA area and i had to drive back to san diego that same night and there was no droning all the way up to cruising speed (if you know what i mean) you can def hear the exhaust on the outside, and it just growls, very deep tone. here are some quick pix i took in my friends driveway. I Think Lou has the pix of the exhaust being installed and hope he will post them up. and a video will be posted shortly as soon as i get my video camera back

Just want to thank Lou and the Amplified team for taking care of me and all there customers and thank you for having that awsome BBQ. I cant thank you enough guys. Ill def be seeing you guys in the very near future for some more installs.
ps. i dont have numbers of the car yet other than stock. stock the car made 280hp at K&N's shop. the car is going back to K&N for a CAI fitment and will go back on the dyno in november. ill post the numbers in my journal

some very quick pix (sorry)... better pix and video coming soon

i know, it took them a little while to finish after you left. i know you guys want video, i know someone took video of it when it came off the lift the first time but forgot who it was, but i think they said they will post it on youtube. as soon as i get my camcorder back ill take hd video, but i dont think video does any exhaust justice, you have to hear it in real life

it is a great looking exhaust and sounds awesome, I drove our Z for 4-5 hours on the highway and streets on our club trip to Key West and I did not encounter any drone or issues, really comes alive when you get on it.

How do the burnt tips look in person? That's the only thing I've never been to sure about.
