I've been dealing with a somewhat similar dilemma, RTP's or ART's. Have you decided on any particular brand of RTP, if so can you tell me why. Just trying to get educated before laying down the cash.

I'm leaning towards the Resonated HFC. Alot of members are saying that the TP are a bit louder, which I dont like haha I hate when some Z's sound like muscle cars. I may go with FI or Z1 for the RHFC...Just trying to get inputs from everyone before I do lol I'll be purchasing them probably arond May.
Thinking about getting a XYZ Resonated Y-Pipe from Motordyne as well...

I have installed Motordyne ART pipes and Fast Intentions RHFC. They are both quality products. I started with the ART pipes and changed to RHFC. I have a Borla cbe that does not have resonators, so I found the ART pipes to be too boomy in around town driving. Not exactly too loud, but around 2k rpm, it had a deep drone that would vibrate the interior. The RHFC are not as loud overall and they still have a slight drone around 2k rpm, but it is tolerable.

The ART pipes sound better at idle and WOT, but overall, I like the RHFC better. My butt dyno would say the ART pipes gave more power, but that may be just because they sounded more aggressive \ raw.

Other difference is ART pipes use the stock ring style gasket and FI uses flat gaskets. ART re-used the factory bracing system, FI does not.

I didn't have a leak with either system. They both fit up great. Neither set gave me a CEL. They both cost about the same ~$450 for a good used set.

If my cbe had some 12-18" resonators, I probably would have stuck with the ART pipes, but I didn't want to modify my Borla system so I went with the RHFC and feel like I made the right choice for me.

Nice! yea I just bought the Resonated Apexi RS CBE and was thinking about getting the resonated FI HFC. However, would I need to get the Y-pipe or would the stock pipe be good enough? Do you still have the RHFC on your ride? I'd love to hear a sound clip of it

Not sure I follow you. If you bought a Cat Back Enhaust, it will replace everything past the stock cat. You won't need a y pipe or mid pipe, that is part of the cbe. The only other parts of the exhaust are the headers and the cat pipe. The test pipe or high flow cat will replace the stock cat, leaving with only the headers as stock.

I currently have the FI RHFC on my car. I don't have videos yet, but if you look for a thread titled Borla, you can see several videos of my exhaust with Borla CBE with stock coats and Borla CBE with ART pipes. I plan to put up similar videos with the RHFC so there will be a good comparison of all 3 systems soon.

I'm pretty sure for that type of money he could have any of the top systems from the headers back. He has a very specific sound that he's looking for, this system must meet his criteria, besides it's his cash to spend any way he wants. Good luck with which ever route you take.

Don't forget to factor in emissions in your area. If and when I do it will be hfc's.

You are eliminating the y pipe when buying an aftermarket cat back like that.

I'm gonna install everything one at a time to see and feel the difference. Eventually I'll get the RHFC
