Anyone done washer mod with aftermarket exhuast?

Wondering if anyone has tried the washer mod with their exhaust setup and test pipes. I currently have Berk exhaust and hi flow cats but want a louder idle sound.

I'm pretty sure Mr.Kenchan has done this. :stirthepot:

Not a good idea without the cats. Very likely to get exhaust gases into cabin.

??? I really don't get it. Why spend all that $$ and then bypass the aftermarket exhaust by making a giant leak in the system? That's stupid.

The civic is alive within him. Its oozing out of him

I think those are the exhaust fumes getting into the cabin :wtf2:

The washer mod works well temporarily if you want to see what a few more dB sounds like but it's not a very good permanent solution. It blows hot gasses on some of the wiring and can introduce exhaust into the cabin.

A tee, drilled blank flange, and turn down does well long-term and keeps the exhaust away from the car.

These are a much better solution, OP.
