Any one running Speed Force headers besides UFreefer?
Was looking at options for latest mod, FI just doesn't seem to be the way I want to go, already have an M370 intake, ARK HFC, and a CBE and R2C intakes. Came across UFreefer's post with the headers, besides being a thing of beauty and $$$$, his dyno results indicate they do seem to work, required to have cats here in PA so don't want to run long tubes.
Anyone else have any experiance with this brand? http://sfrdusa.com/wp-content/upload...Zheaders02.jpg |
$1500 is a lot for shorties. plus this is the first time I've even heard of these.
same money you could have FI LTH and being in PA doesn't mean you can delete cats. trust me i'm running straight pipes lol after reading that dude's write up and i'm just struggling to believe he had 328WHP and 283WTQ. the HP number isn't too far fetched but that TQ figure just seems up there for the Z. |
The numbers are real ;)
I've since sold the car for a Porsche 911S but the Z was as fast from a roll in any gear as the Porsche. Dyno's numbers are subjective, I get it, but many other Z's have used this dyno and my car made much more power. I did same day before and after pulls for every mod and backed up the numbers on a second dyno to make sure. I think the reason for my high tq numbers is the OEM mufflers and Tanabe Y-pipe. I tested other larger dual exhaust setups and they made very minimal peak hp gains but lost big mid range. The headers use burns collectors, about as good as it gets and their made in the USA, not China |
I'm in Pa, Fayette county. We have no emissions here. FI LTH's and no cats. You can get FI LTH's and Tony will install cats on the pipe behind the LTH's if you want.
