How do you like the Z1 HFC's? I was planning on them or Arks. Do you get a CEL?

I currently have the Z1 HFCs with my ARK Grip, they rasp until they get hot, then they sound good.

The Arks are overpriced

Want test pipes? FI or Motordyne ART
Want HFC? FI

Definetely .. i have the arts and in my expetience ..they rasp so bad...that i am embarassed driving around

You get rasp from the ART pipes? youd be the first person ive heard with that experience. Which exhaust are you currently running?

I had Akrapovic.
Worst Rasp EVER.
Sold it. gonna try on my next exhaust
I want to believe in motordyne, So benefit of the doubt..will try on my 2nd exhaust

I'm not looking for rasp or any of that hiss so I'm sticking with stock cats and will be picking up an ARK Grip within the next month or so. Looking forward to it.

Theres your problem. The ART pipes are the least raspy and hissy test pipes made, but that is one raspy *** exhaust.

Not at all..the akrapovic is one of the most beautiful notes i have ever heard..i recommend it to everyone..howevr its nt loud which is why i mainly wanted a reason to change it

Idk where you got the info that akrapovic is a raspy exhaust..that is not at all the case

By themselves almost no exhaust has rasp, but when you add test pipes, ANY test pipes, is when a raspy exhaust shows itself.

That makes sense i guess, So ark is a no-rasp exhaust or ? recommend anything else ?

I have the Ark Grip as I said, and I still recommend Fast Intentions as hands down the best exhaust made for our cars. That being said, the ARK Grip is second place, and with the art pipes you wont have rasp.

Great to know..i have never heard fast intentions but just reading this forum gives you an idea of how great fast intentions is. I wish i could wait 3 months but i cannot, so i am looking forward to ark.
That being said, i do have a slight urge to get armytrix just because its so rare lol. I probably wont but its quite a tease. Lets see what the shipping comes upto lol

Armytrix is nothing any different to Akrapovic both are rare and overly priced but not in anyway better than FI or Ark. IMO
