As it sounds like Horizon Line didn't do a good job with your baby, if you ever need to ship your car again I'd at least suggest you look at a1autotransport.com shipping calculator for a price quote. I used them when I moved from europe back to the States, and they were a breeeeeze.

Of course do your own research! Hopefully next time you ship it isn't as rough.

When I brought my 'Vette back to Cali from Hawaii, I had an option to ship it via air, it would arrive the same day I got into LAX. I shipped it via Matson, and it was delivered to me at LAX when I arrived. Loaded my stuff and went blasting down I5 to Camp Pendleton. :)
