Visiting Honolulu
 

I'm working at Tripler AMC and staying at the Holiday Inn Express Waikiki through next Friday. We start early and usually finish up work by 3 pm. I'd love to meet up with any local Z guys for some happy hour drinks or even dinner. I'm always interested in local recommendations for both as well.

I'll try to keep an eye on this thread as able, or feel free to call or text me anytime :tiphat:

Welcome to Oahu! Hope you're enjoying your stay so far. We don't have many people (including myself) check this section very often. As far as I know, I don't think there is 370Z group. But there is a Nissan/Infiniti group called VQ I.N.C. Hawaii. They have a Facebook and Instagram page if you want to check them out.

I'm having a blast. I spent all day Saturday on the water fly fishing for bonefish (had no clue about the missile alert), most of Sunday at the North Shore (those waves were HUGE!), and Monday morning at Diamondhead (beautiful hike). Evenings are mostly spent walking around the Waikiki area finding different places to eat and drink.

I was mostly just hoping to meet a fellow forum member or two. I'm here until Friday if anyone wants to meet up for happy hour.

Bump for another trip scheduled in May for 2 weeks. We'll see what happens with this virus mess but the plan is go for the last week in May and first week in June.

By then hopefully things should be in a different place. I'm in the aviation industry and we're still flying, its just nearly empty planes.

Now's not the time to visit unless you add a two week hotel confinement to your trip or jail time.

lol yeah we have changed our hotel and airfare reservations to the first two weeks in Sept.
