671 - Guam - Official Chat Thread
Since, there has been little chatter here recently and everyone posting on the same thread. I though I'd start the official chat there in this section.
One thing that I'd like to get started is an official listing of Z Owners/Members so we know who to contact for meets, tech assistance, or who to call for what when we run into a problem. We should probably start and official owner list: 1. JC671 (Nitrous'ed Black Cherry Z) 2. Simota1 (1SIKZ34) "The Zed" 3. Navyboy916 (Soon to be JUN cam Black Cherry Z) 4. Roy M. (is he on here?) Red Z 5. afbunn (monterrey blue Z) Thats all that I can think of. Anyways, what has everyone been up to?

Sitting here angry, sad and confused, waiting to get my baby back! One of the worst things about Guam is its location in reference to everywhere else. Damn CSC is gonna take supposedly 2 weeks to get here from Nissan. Do any of you know a mechanic named Carlo? He works at a place called Mcchanix or something like that? He's the guy working on my car, my buddy vouched for him when he did all the work on his 350.
Once I get it back, I have some plans for it. Some are: -Short throw shifter -New clutch pedal assembly -Shift knob -Sounds |

The only thing I buy locally is things that I cannot wait for but as far as parts, I buy everything through our trusted site vendors. What shift knob you plan on running?

I don't know, I started to go through a guy who worked on my buddy's 350 and he ordered the stuff. I didn't think to check here for quicker shipping. Does any vendor here sell things like the OEM CSC for a good price with quick shipping? I'm not familiar with all the vendors here yet as I'm still pretty new to the site.

Use this site and use the search bottom for any issue. More than likely there are several owners who have had or experienced the same issue already and have found the remedy. Do you trust someone with your 30+k investment? Check Z1motorsports, concept Z and all the other site vendors. Why would you go back to the OEM CSC? Thats been a known issue. I plan to correct mine soon but may just buy the part and have it lay around until I encounter that issue. Any pics or links? PM me your number. We should have lunch whenever your car works again with Simota. Hope things go well. Keep us posted.

Yeah sure that'd be great. You drive a Black Cherry with Fairlady badges and an exhaust, I'm guessing Fast Intentions? License plate GMEOVR? If that's you, I saw you parked at the PAX terminal on Andersen yesterday. Haha. I'll PM you my digits. What would you say the best option for getting the new CSC installed here on island would be? I'd go to Nissan but even I know that you should avoid dealerships whenever possible. Maybe Nissan Guam is different, haven't really dealt with them. You bring up a good point. He didn't really make the decision for me, but he was really confident that the guy really knows his stuff and does good work. I trust him becuase he's a really good friend of mine, so I just went with that.
I'll find links and pics for the shift knob. Also let me know if you know any other good places to buy them from. |

No ******** the z is at Nissan to get the cams installed right now had to wait for new seals to come in from Japan. Should have the car by next Monday or Tuesday. And my sprint booster is here today once I get the car back I will let u know how it does and hopefully completely eliminates any gas pedal delay.

NavyBoy how's your cam install coming along? About the detail job, it depends on what the rates are. I won't spend more than $100 just for a detail. Even $100 is pushing it.
