Nobody can run more than 10-11 psi because you run great risk of piston or rod failure due to too much horsepower. Once there are more samples of people building their engines and turning up the boost, then we will start to see if VVEL presents any issues that need resolution.
The pistons this thread is about are targeted at not lowering the compression as much as the currently available options. Available shelf pistons are 9:1, where stock is 11:1. I wish to go right in the middle, at 10:1. |
