So would u recomend painting them instead for track use? I want to powdercoat my sport rims too but worry about heat but they wont get as hot as calipers

rims should be ok. I don't think paint will hold up either. I used 1200 degree duplicolor on my rotors and it burned off. Best is the stock finish.

Is there not a way to duplicate stock finish but in a different color?

not that I know of. Powdercoating may hold up a little better with a brake cooling kit, but they just get too hot on our cars. I powdercoated a set of sport calipers for my friend with a G37 who tracks his car and they are holding up just fine. Its all about the cooling.

Hmm thats an idea. How much would a cooling kit cost for us?

sometime in the 19-21 would work best. going to be gone most of the month and doing Danyas R32 wheels and calipers over the 4th.

It can be after the 4th if that will work. I won't be picking my car up until the 21st at the earliest............
