The 16g kit is the fastest responding kit built for the the stock block (+/-500hp), the 18g's are slightly less responsive as the 16g (due to more mass to spin)

The 16g kit is the fastest responding kit built for the the stock block (+/-500hp), the 18g's are slightly less responsive as the 16g (due to more mass to spin) but more breathing room in the upper power band (due to bigger size), good for more available power than the stock block could handle (700hp) if one so chooses to upgrade block internals in their future but still usable on stock block with the correct tune (the kit I picked), the 20g(biggest turbos of the kits) requires built block for big power numbers (900hp). With any FI kit your gonna want get a big oil cooler, not included in the MHI tt kit. I don't think spark plugs are included but one step colder or gtr plugs shouldn't hurt. Also missing boost gauge and a wideband gauge.
Any one please correct me if Iam wrong. ![]() Last edited by Infiniti370z; 04-12-2013 at 01:59 AM. |
