Unichip already makes a piggy back for the 350Z with dyno results, 19 hp and 20.4 torque gains.

350Z Features:

Adds power to stock & modified engines - up to 30% more power

No high-octane fuel requirements

One year factory warranty

"19 hp sure is a long ways from 30% more power"

Gang, I have a bridge in the Florida swamps that I'll sell real cheap also.

Seeing is believing...........

I believe when they say up to 30% they are referring to getting that number with the add-ons so you might get 30% more with HFC, headers and catback exhaust. Not just gain 30% over stock.

because up to 6% just doesn't sound as good  I'm not knocking it, just want real figures, I'm actually interested in this product.

Also those are the numbers from the 350Z. I am waiting for the numbers from the 370Z. I just emailed the guy and asked him when the new date is.

how much is shipping to our little rock? 370z spec yet?

ZYUL8R 05-13-2009 07:55 AM

Do they remove the speed limiter, and allow for rev limiter adjustments?

>135I 05-13-2009 01:34 PM

Checking on both questions.

Just got the email back.

Rev limiters are tricky . Apart from the fact that most engines don't make a stitch more power after the stock limiter it is something that could hold liability implications for us as a company so we rarely move limiters.

Liability implications are also there with the roadspeed limiter but we may move it up a bit with the 370.

What's up with this?

>135I, you must ask Mr. Kuyl to sign up here as a vendor to do a group buy once the product is ready. We have to be fair to our paying vendors. Thanks.

Where is the Unichip  is it done yet?

Sounds like a good deal, although I don't know a whole lot about the ECUs available. I just remember the days of a Jim Wolf reflash or nothing, heh.

I'd love some more information on the capabilities and expected gains, both stock and slightly modified (intake, hkc, exhaust.)
