I don't understand why you can't call your anodizer right now and get an updated lead time. I'm not ignorant to this whole process - I've run custom parts on a CNC before, finished them, and I know exactly the wait process one has to go through to get a batch of parts anodized, and exactly how costly it is. But I also know that any reputable business you're interacting with can give you a lead time +/- a day, and definitely cut you a break if they know you're in hot water with customers due to something taking so long.

Are they not open on Mondays? Stop playing forum PR person and make some phone calls like you should have been - away on business or not - last week.

I called first thing this morning, and left a message. I also called right before I posted this he's at lunch. I wanted to have an answer before I posted, but wasn't able to. I said tomorrow, simply to make sure I had time to get an answer.

I'm not playing forum PR, simply being as honest as possible with you guys.

I understand your frustration,

I understand your frustration,
Well-played sir...

OK, just please throw out an update for everybody's paid orders so people who may have not paid yet know they can safely finish their order. It's good to know other people's stuff is going out, even if your own order is delayed for a legit reason.

I don't want any kind of refund, for the record, maybe you can issue everybody who has been waiting a 5% off their next purchase voucher or something.

I can assure you we are not here to take your money, you will get exactly what you ordered. I have been very busy this past week on some other project which took me out of town. However, I'm back now and getting you guys happy is my top priority!

Here's the deal. We had a few GB's end around the same time. Which really killed us on our stock. On top of other issues like our purple not matching with a new batch, and us not being on top of our fulfillment list I made the decision to delay the shipment of our 370 kits for one week so we can confirm we were shipping all pieces needed in the kit. We even had a local customer with a 370 stop by and we did a test fit on his car. We corrected the mistakes with the fulfillment list.

So, now I was expecting the 370 kits to be shipped (last week) while I was out of town most of the week. I get back yesterday and find out since we had 3 GB's end last week and the week before, we are super low on everything now (poor planning on my part, no excuses). So we have shipped 1 370Z kit before we realized out fulfillment list was incorrect. We even overnighted him the remaining pieces plus the our Strut Tower Kit for the 370z to test out at no charge.

I understand everyone being upset at the situation I am to! I don't like being unable to deliver our products in a timely manner. I assure you we will make sure everyone is happy.

So here are my thoughts:

I can refund your shipping costs
OR
I can offer you a discount on our 370z Strut Tower Bar Kit (Includes the 4 Bolts and 2 Nuts for the STB).

If you guys want the STB Kit, I will make sure it ships with your Engine Bay Kit.

Again, I apologize for the delay! We will make sure everyone gets exactly what they ordered. We are a small business, and customer service is extremely important to us. As is providing a quality product in a timely manner. We dropped the ball on this one guys, and I apologize for that.

Thanks,

-Chris Bishop
(1) - You can understand if I'm reluctant to send any additional money via PayPal for a reduced price product as an apology for a product I've already sent money for that I haven't received.

(2) - I don't think I'd be interested in receiving a reduced price product that you indicate in a round-a-bout way is in testing (to see if it fits OK).

(3) - So, refudning my shipping cost would be the obvious choice for me since I'm worried about my money in the first place...I'd certainly not send MORE.

Door number THREE (3), please...Thanks.

Sure I understand completely. The offer is good even after you get the original product. I have no problem if you want to wait and verify we are able to be trusted.

The STB kit has been tested, and fits good. I sent one to a member here to test out and see if he liked it or not at no charge. Not for test fitment purposes.

Again, I'm sorry if this situation has left a bad taste in some people's mouth. Unfortunately when you are a small business things like this can and do happen, I just hope we can handle it in a way that is pleasing to everyone involved. We will try our best to get you guys some tictac's and regain your trust in the future.

As for a firm ship date. I spoke with our anodizer this morning, and was able to figure out a schedule on both of our ends. We should be able to start shipping all of the backordered kits Wed. October 6. I will try my best to get them shipped before that date, but please count on this date as a shipping date.

Thanks again for everyone's patience. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Got this on the morning of the 28th. Still waiting. How are these coming if I may ask...?

I hope they come USPS Priority... a small flat rate box is only $4.85 after all. I really think all of the bolts would fit. If it's coming any slower, I definitely want my S&H money back - $8 for slow shipping on 36 light-weight fasteners is a rip-off.

I'd like to hear an update on the purple kits sometime before the 6th when we were promised they'd ship. Hopefully they're going to be ready sooner.

I will send your kit however you would like. If you want me to overnight it to you I will.

Also, I keep checking the tracking number I have, and I'm pretty sure these will ship late Monday/Tuesday morning.

That's awesome. USPS Priority will get it to me in 2 days, so that'll work.

Thanks for the update, I hope these new ones match up in color.

Hey everyone, I met Chris today at Ztoberfest in Richmond, VA! He does exist and is a real human!!

But seriously, he brought me my kit and delivered it in person just as promised. These things look pretty awesome! I'll be holding off on installing mine until my hood issues are cleared up. Let's just say the aftermarket hood I chose.....I shouldn't have. I just wanted to reassure anyone who hasn't rec'd their set yet to be patient.....Chris will come through.

Photos of the kit can be taken....if anyone wants to see them. Just let me know.
