That's strange...if you called 12:00 Hawaii time it should've been 2:00 in California. They should've been open...I've experienced calling them with no answer, but after two or three follow up calls (back to back)...someone usually answers...Try sending a PM to rob@berktech and see if you get a response from him....Last I knew he was monitoring the forums for Berk.

I called them right as they finished shipping out batch #2 and they had a few extras. Reason I know that is I bought one. Getting installed today. It has been a pleasure dealing with Berk. Great communication, fast shipping and the product looks best in class. I will post detailed experience post after the install.

I spoke to both Laura and Rob, none in stock, so it looks like I will have to make do with the berk HFCs I ordered for now...

You should make a "want to buy" thread in the selling section for the BERK exhaust. I am sure some poor sap is gonna sell his Z for some reason we all hope never happens to us.

We have a couple R&D exhausts that we are willing to sell at a discount if anyone is interested. They aren't a perfect fit but for those willing to tweak around and get it to be perfect based on your vehicle you can have it at a discount. Please PM me if you are interested.

Rob...for future customers...what are they looking at in terms of waiting time for an exhaust? Have you guys started ordering already to replinish your stock?

We have subassemblies on their way, but in order to avoid what happened last time we want to stock up on at least 25 exhausts in our inventory prior to announcing that we have any ready to ship. This way when orders are placed they are shipped out in a timely manner and no one is standing around tapping their foot wondering where their exhaust is.

We hope to be able to assemble an exhaust a day with test fit - so we're guessing a good month to two months we'll be ready to ship. But the good news is, when we're ready to ship... they'll be shipping!

They are worth the wait.

Been meaning to post in the thread since Monday.

I was part of second group buy, and fortunately Berk is down the street from my place. Initially, I was able to coordinate with Bryan to pick up my exhuast in person; however, he was kind enough to bring me in-house for an install to see if there were any fitments issues as seen by some in the forums.

Berk has excellent customer service. One thing that everyone has to keep in mind is that they are small operation and are working very hard which each order. I was able to drop my car off in the morning, was given a ride to work, and picked up after my car was finished. I met with Laura and Bryan who are both really great people, and definitely are standout individuals from all my dealings in the automotive industry.

Last, but not least, I have the exhaust on the car (w/ High-Flow cats on the way). The sound of the exhaust is dead sexy. I've been driving around all week with no radio because I enjoy the sound of it that much! Each one of these exhausts is hand-built in house. I am definitely glad I waited. Thanks again Rob, Laura, and Bryan for the great experience. I wish there were more companies with people like you!
