Default NST CR-Lite (OEM SIZE) Crank Pulley Group Buy

Hey gang, a few of you have heard of NST by now, so here goes...

-PLEASE READ THIS POST VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE ADDING YOUR NAME-

This Group Buy will offer the 370Z community a special run of our CR-Lite series. Our CR-Lite Crank Pulleys are lightweight versions of OEM crank pulleys and are roughly 70% lighter than the OEM pulleys they replace. The CR-Lite is the pulley of choice for our customers who are looking to supercharge their cars.

We are also offering a GB discount on our CR-Lite & Alternator KIT. This kit includes both the CR-Lite Crank Pulley AND an Alternator Pulley. Both pulleys are oughly 70% lighter than OEM and lead to better throttle response and quicker acceleration.

Generally, NST Pulleys are offered in two colors: Red and Graphite Gray.
To make this GB more interesting, we will offer a choice of colors for this batch of pulleys: Red, Graphite Gray, Blue, Silver, Black, Gold, Purple.
Please note carefully: regular production colors after this GB are over will remain Red and Graphite Gray, so if you want a special color... now is the time!

This will be a special run of NST pulleys and will require roughly 15 people within the next 15 days.

Each CR-Lite Pulley will cost $125 plus shipping (roughly $10 in the US.)

Each CR-Lite & ALT KIT (two piece kit) will cost $169 plus shipping (roughly $10.)

For comparisons, a typical kit of this quality and features is usually $225+ when purchased at regular pricing.

Payments can be made using the services of PayPal, Debit, or Credit cards; we will have detailed instructions for you about this as we come closer to the close of this GB (JAN 3, 2010.)

We will begin the production process on this GB once the closing date has arrived and all payments have processed. We will have some sweet pulleys to ship out to you guys ROUGHLY FIVE WEEKS after payments have processed. The long production cycle is part of the reason each member is being offered such a large discount on this GB. Building a pulley properly and testing along the build process requires several weeks, but we prefer to do it properly rather than quickly. I hope you all share these same values, and will be patient as we move along. Please do not sign up if you can not wait patiently.

You can check the following links, from other forums, to get an idea of how NST group buys usually proceed from day one to the day of shipment...

For what its worth..

I just got my car back yesterday after the NST pulley install. I cant believe how heavy the stock pulley was!

Not just that and its possible its just my imagination but I'm sure I can tell the difference. Seems to Rev up faster and the decel is less when you drop off the gas.

Great product guys, thank you for that! (picked up mine through Scott and Fontana Nissan and the nice guys at AE installed them for me)

Thank you Urbanracer! This is a great kit and an unheard of price for such a GP.
Hopefully we'll get enough people on board to make this GB possible.

Anyone else who may be interested please copy and past the latest list and add your name to the next available spot...

Will this have any effects (good or bad) if i ended up going Supercharged? I know on my cobalt there were 2 types of drive pulley's. Overdrive and Underdrive...one was for supercharged cars.

To confirm this kit still uses the standard / stock belt correct? Also, can you post pictures of the other colors?

these are stock size, not overdrive or underdrive, just lighter. same belt will be used.

This type of crank pulley, our CR-Lite Crank Pulley, is specifically designed for those owners who are looking to supercharge their cars. Boost will not be affected in any way when this type of crank pulley is used.
