I think we all agree that it sucks and he got the **** end of the stick but this is gonna make me sound like a ****, the world doesn’t stop for anyone. We have had minimal updates, vague and repetitive updates. A month and a half was the time frame given for the product. We all have been more than enough patient. So now I am requesting that I receive a refund and I’m being told no? I’m not saying he’s a bad guy out to steal from people but look at my point of view. I paid for something in full months ago and I still don’t have a date when it will be finished? Paypal told me I have only a few days left to file a complaint for a refund? I had to message him on several different social media accounts because he isn’t responding to email and his business phone isn’t set up? Don’t confuse your personal feelings of a similar event in your life which gives him a cushion for his business to falter. It is not an excuse. It actually annoys me seeing some of you say I’m not worried about it no big deal I can wait because my build isn’t near completion, it’s like you don’t care to hold people accountable.
Let's not get this all twisted. We all want out what we paid for and we wanted it when it was promised to be delivered. Fact is I have yet to see any custom work delivered on time as advertised and that is without the person or shop having a 911 life event. Also, the recourse necessary for some of us to hold him accountable will probably take longer and cost more than it will for the product if you want chase smalls claims court, given you didn't pay with a credit card or made you last installment with PayPal within the given timeline. Lastly, my statement and sentiment are my own and was stated not to deprive or persuade you or anyone of their own personal perspective. So you might want to slow your roll! We are all in this mess together and you got to do what you got to do!

Im lodging a dispute through paypal on friday, you have 180 days since purchase to lodge a dispute. And for me that time is running out fast (purchased october 25 last year) Its sh!?t because i really wanted the parts. It clearly been a rough year for jerimiah, however its just business. We all payed for parts not received. Money should be refunded if no product is supplied. If the parts are being made and are available at a later date (who knows when) than jerimiah will still be able to sell them at the normal price and still come out on top. Its only us that are losing out at the moment. If the parts are available and are shipped before my 180day period i will withdraw the dispute- this is what im hoping.

I don't know where y'all are getting the 180 day number from. My PayPal dispute options only go back for 90 days worth of transactions. If yours goes to 180 days then great. It really sucks for guys on a time crunch

I had actually already filed a dispute with the bank that holds the credit card I used, but I cancelled the dispute when Jeremiah responded in this thread. Thankfully, they won't hold me to a deadline for disputing the two charges and told me I could call back and reinstate a dispute at my discretion in the future if I don't get my product.

The 180 days is what Paypal told me when I spoke with them.

That's odd. Because when I go online to file a dispute, I have to select the transaction. My list of transactions only goes back to January when I go through this process. PayPal told me that if the transaction is not listed, I can't dispute it. Thankfully, I have another avenue if it gets to that point.

It’s 180 days. I think you might’ve set your transaction search parameters incorrectly.

I wasn't searching. I started the process online to file a dispute. Once you begin the process, the website will give you a list of transactions that are eligible to dispute - there are no search parameters involved on my end. My dispute list only goes back 90 days. When I spoke to PayPal about this, they said if the transaction does not appear in the list to dispute, then it cannot be disputed.

YMMV apparently...

Wow, what a crap show. You young men need to learn some patience. No worries, life will teach it to you like it or not. I am not too worried. I am sure not gonna go all crazy acting. It is worth 1200 dollars to me to find out what someone is made of.

Just because we act differently does not mean that’s wrong or crazy. $1200 is worth to you to find out, not for me, there’s nothing wrong with that. You have added motivation due to you having a highly built motor. My need for the pump isn’t nearly as necessary.

It’s got nothing to do with age either. This is pure subjective tolerance.

I did the same process fyi.

It defaults to only list the 90 days transactions. You have change the start date at the top.

Unfortunately, I know way more than I should about paypal due to some dishonest people. Good luck with your endeavor.

Today I learned asking for updates on a three month overdue part is acting crazy.

We've been plenty patient given the absolute radio silence from Jeremiah. It's one thing to wait when they're showing you progress. It's another to sit around waiting when they've obviously backburnered the project due to personal issues.

Chalk it up to user error then

Funny they didn't mention anything about that or 180 days when I spoke with support
