The OEM cooling system doesn't account for a big intercooler in front. You're in tx. Buy the radiator and oil cooler. Trust me.

There is no OEM oil cooler. Stock thermostat and radiator are fine for a street car. I am still on stock, never had a problem. But you are in a hotter climate than me. It probably comes down to how hard you intend to run the car.
Nissan hasnt assigned any of those items a specific boost pressure rating, so all you can do is proactively upgrade things based on recommendation, or wait until something falls short of your expectations and upgrade it then. |

Get your fuel mods from cj motorsports, aka phunk. He has what you should get and will school you better than anyone else on the vhr platform. He also has the most miles plus most hp on a stock block than anyone else. Says something about his ingenuity and parts.

On the stock block with the greddy kit? I see the greddy dyno its like 450hp and 380trq or so....all those things u changed on the kit do you think affected that or was it something else?id just like maybe 500hp 400trq safely if possible.

I didn't really change anything in the kit that was going to make more power except maybe the exhaust manifold porting I did could have made a couple hp... But that wouldn't really matter. When you are barely working the turbo system anyway, you can just turn up the boost to make more power.
No I couldn't put larger turbos on this kit... It doesn't exactly work like that. |
