BP sets the VQ HP bar high... dyno and video inside
I know this isn't a 370z or a G37, but I thought I post it anyway since it is a VQ, and one of the kits that I produce.....
I have had a customer that decided to do a bit of a custom mid mount kit, using a Precision 7675 T4 .96 a/r billet JB turbo. The run was made on the new DJ dyno at Dynosty. E85 fuel and 30psi of boost. The engine was built by the guys at Dynosty...IMO one of the best VQ builders in the United States. The car was running out of fuel, so full HP potential was not reached. The numbers are still impressive if you ask me.... http://i137.photobucket.com/albums/q...ps0e8e893d.jpg Video: 934WHP Built 350Z on Dynosty Dyno - YouTube With the recent release of the all new PTE 6870 turbo, I would expect similar results with the VHR twin scroll kit. |
Jesus, that's impressive

You better get that thing built to take a lot of abuse....the new 6870 turbo should be good for similar numbers posted above, with better response. |
Holy horse power Batman! Nice work!
Now all it is missing is some Miata doors |
Pretty impressive.
Look at the compression camber during the pull!! |
How do you even put all that power to the ground? I guess the driver just likes laying black lines down the pavement.
otherwise, very impressive. |

lol naw I tune diesel trucks all over the place and am just getting to the point where it would be beneficial to have our own dyno setup. That being said if my car spends more time on it than any of our trucks I cant help that. lol |
Yeah Dynosty knows their stuff. Anytime you hear big numbers on the VQ platform (minus AMS and the GTR), they're most likely involved.

.... well then.

Sure is...too bad he ran out of fuel. I am sure the turbo had over 1,000whp in it. The 6870 turbo should have similar results to the dyno posted above. |
