Any updates Tommyguns?

Trying to sort out some issues with a window switch, which to use and how to wire it. So I've been consumed with squaring this away.

I can't catch a break. So 13 days later we sorted everything out and having all but the heated bottle holder and temps in the mid 60's here in New York, I was ready to have at it! Well wouldn't you know it, I go to lay everything out and the kit is short a nozzle on top of that the purge kit is missing the solenoid bracket. I got so disgusted I put everything away and watched football.
Got on the phone with Amazon, I will have a replacement purge kit here tomorrow. The only good thing is that it's supposed to be in the 60's again tomorrow and my bottle holder as well as my Big Dog relay will be here. So I'm putting on the big boy pant's and I quit my sulking, tomorrow will be the day come hell or high water. Hopefully either Zspeed or Zex will make this an easy fix and not give me the run around for the nozzle. Wish me luck, I could use it. |
:driving:Results man! Results!???

Subbed for the results.

Once I get my intercooler put on I'll take out my jets and take a picture of the 190 shot I'm doing and post them up :)

OK today was an awesome day! Started out a little slow (apprehension I guess), plus going to the auto parts store, the hardware store and Home Depot.
My packages came as promised except for the rack, that will be here tomorrow along with the missing jet. So I ran the main hose from the cabin to the engine bay, mounted and installed the NMU with all the hoses and distribution blocks, installed the fuel tap and purge line. So far the hardest part is the routing of all the hoses so that it looks perfect. I'm not concerned with hiding it, actually I prefer it to show. There's not much room Ill tell you that, I almost considered keeping the NMU in the cabin, but hoses coming and going, it just wasn't feasible. Then it started to get dark so I called it a day. Done deal by noon tomorrow, didn't start till noon today. I could use a recommendation for a fuel pressure safety switch, what type of AFR gauge do I need, I like the look and custom ability of the Speed Hut gauges and I would like to stay away from digital. So there you have it, it could definitely be done in an afternoon. I like to take my time and not scratch any of the fittings, use rubber grommets, things of the anal nature. The wiring should be no problem, speaking of wiring, can anyone tell me what color wire you tapped for the TPS and what wire for RPM off the ECU. Thanks again for all the support the forum has supplied, without it I wouldn't be doing this. |

So, I just have to route the purge line and mount the solenoid . I'm very happy with the results. Also mounted the arming switch, just waiting on two switches I ordered, one to arm the MSD and the other for purge. Building the ARC bottle holder/heater a little later. So if it doesn't snow like a banshee, I'll have it wired up and ready to go. Still need my gauges and fuel safety switch. Plus some help with wire tap locations. Come on guys, TPS wire to tap and the RPM of the ECU. PLEASE

Will check tps in morning, madwi has a good find with that thread.

If I tap the TPS at the ECU, do I still use the resistor wire?
