It takes no effort at all to drive smoothly in those two cars. I have to ride the clutch more and work both pedals a lot more to smooth out a shift. It's a little "uncomfortable" for the female passenger(s). But, it does make there head and boobies bobble a little when I drive regularly (not trying to smooth shift).

Take the helper spring out. It'll give you a normal feeling clutch where you can tell the engagement point.

Of course I'm always confused when people tell me this manual is difficult to drive. I've never had an issue. So maybe disregard my input
