The speciality z clutch is unreal, Its so smooth. I love mine. But its $$$$.
If I did it over again, I would fork out a little more cash and go with a dual assembly.

I wish I had the same story. My clutch is inconsistent even since install. I'm actually going to start dropping my transmission in 30minutes to check ok the ss lines and csc.

Hope it's an easy fix, because they'll leave you hanging if you need anything from them.

mine was acting up for the first few weeks, I ended up changing the Master cyl. and manually bleed/ gravity bleeding. Works great now! it seems that the power bleeder doesn't work well. I could be wrong?

IDK, he made me a video to try and help but I have not heard from him since. We will see.

How exactly did you gravity bleed it?

I think I will have to try this after I drop the thing to make sure everything is kosher.

Pump the pedal a couple of times and open the fitting. Just let it drip for a little while before you really bleed it. I can't say if it worked or not, since I was trying to bleed a warped defective clutch.

EVOHUNTER 03-10-2015 03:23 PM

As chuck said, pump her a few times, crack your bleeder screw, I let mine gravity bleed for 3 hours or so, just keep an eye on it, and keep it toped up!

Damn it.. I'm thinking I could try and gravity bleed and see.. but then again, if that don't work I'm dropping it anyhow..The car is already on the stands and front tires off... I should of tried this week's ago. Grr!!

How'd it go? did the bleed work?

YzGyz 03-11-2015 11:56 AM

I dropped my transmission and just got in contact with Seb. He said he will review the videos I made and reply.

I'm waiting for the reply so before I put her back together. Until I get the transmission back in, I can't continue with my turbo install. I really have to figure this thing out or my turbo is useless. I don't care who you are; it is not possible to get a good launch with the current clutch being boggy.

Best of luck to you bro, hope it works out!

YzGyz 03-12-2015 12:38 PM

last night I checked my email and Seb asked me to send my clutch/flywheel in so he and his guy can check it out. No turbo or car for me this week, maybe even longer. I'm going to find me a loaner car for a few days when I have to get back to work. (I'm on "vacation.") Hope everything is OK or they fix whatever it is that makes this thing so spongy. Off to the shipping place I go.

Make sure you CYA, since if they find a defect they'll play the "Installer error" card and leave you with a rental car bill and a whole lot of labor that they promise they'll help with but they will back out once the time comes to cough up the money. Take a lot of pictures of it before the clutch leaves so they can't play any games.

And here's where everyone comes in to fellate that whole crew about their awesome customer service.

Notice how the only people who keep stroking Specialty Z are the local guys who could go and make things intensely personal if they didn't give good customer service, and the guys who get boned are the out of state ones?

YzGyz 03-12-2015 02:17 PM

Too late.. I already sent it off..

Doh!!!@
