I thought the guy with the 1k hp Z was building his car for the last 3-4 years. Never seen any proof of 1k. So OP n who he called out are pretty much neck n neck in the building race.

I'm pretty sure there was dyno sheets and video of 800+whp a while back.

Yes the 800 but last u checked when making 800 you can't claim it's a 1k hp car. Hence the call out to the guy claiming "1k hp".

given the correct drivetrain power loss % then actually 800+WHP could be 1000+BHP.

c'mon act like you've been here before :shakes head:

like a stock Z is 332BHP but due to the 15-20% dirvetrain loss most dyno at an avg of 275WHP

I'm no tuner, in fact I know almost nothing but is this going to be a nightmare to tune with unequal turbo manifolds? It looks like bank 1 is going to spool earlier than bank 2. Now depending on your FMIC bank 1 exhaust could feed bank 1 or 2 intake, but still there will be a difference.

The plenum is wide open on the inside, so any slight variance in airflow from either turbo is going to be balanced there, if not in the intercooler (depending on end tank design).

Unless you are going to ditch VVEL and go full standalone, then UpRev is the only good option. EcuTek came out and made a bunch of promises and then just basically dropped the platform.

I've been working with pro efi and was wondering if anyone was doing the same.

The vvel is really gay in this car.

The VVEL is really nice actually when you look at it's specs, you have 11.5mm of intake cam with >270Deg duration, but the car idles smooth and the torque curve is Flat from 3200-6500 rpm. The problem is none of the aftermarket ecu manufacturers have been able to step up and run it except motec(cashmoney$$).

It is also smooth, it doesn't "kick in" like vtec does
