Wonderful 3 1/2 years and 22,000 miles and then ....
Short story bigger impact for me
The story: Invitation of Nissan Switzerland NISMO Nürburgring "track day" 23/09/2014 Ohhhhh Yeahhhhhhh 23.09.2014 / 04:00 in the morning I started to the Nürburgring in Germany. Open highway, no speed limit, no traffic. Sometimes with speed over 175 mph (280 Km/h) Was a pleasure 11:00 Coffee break and refuel gasoline (after 280 miles) 12:00 Briefing and instruction of the Nissan Crew 13:00 Grid on the Nürburgring Nordschleife 13:05 "Gentleman, pleas start your engines" 13:07 Someone knocks on my window "Hello Sir, your "Z" smokes a little blue from the exhaust" The Nissan mechanic on site have recommended to me not to start. The "Z" still run......and I can not drive a single round Since that day, the "Z" is with my tuner. For those who do not know my conversion, here is my build: First STILLEN Supercharger 370Z swiss In the next few weeks / months we will analyze what happened. If we have to remove the engine, I will at the same time upgrade the internal parts. With us, the winter is coming and we have enough time to build up the "Z" perfect. My wish list for Spring 2015: The existing STILLEN-Kit (Because we have officially entered this kit with great effort in Switzerland (carb legal)) AND I LOVE IT! 10 - 11 PSI Boost 460-480 WHP Planned upgrades and service: - 340lph fuel pump - 750cc Fuel Injectors - GT-R Spark Plugs - Replacement of all belts (motor and supercharger) - Replacement of all lubricants Now the real questions: 1. Individual parts replaced? - Piston - Connecting Rods - ARP main studs - ARP L19 head studs - etc. 2. Or even the extreme? - Brian Crower Stroker Kit (4:07 or 4:37) BrianCrower.com | RunBC.com // Nissan // VQ35DE 3. Which compression would you with my power / boost (10 - 11 PSI) recommend? - 11 Stock - 10.5 - or ... ?? Many Thanks for your help and recommendations Please only helpful Posts Greetings Ivo @Vendors or Sponsors Feel free to shoot me an offer by PM for the above items

So a little blue smoke but everything else seems fine? Have you checked the oil level in the stillen? Knowing how those things heat soat I can only imagine how hot it got at 280km/hr for an extended period of time.
Do you have an oil temp gauge? what was it reading during those high speed runs? I know mine will creep up with the turbo, I would imagine a SC would be worse.

The outside temperature that day was about 12 -18°C (50-65 F) The engine oil temperature was never higher than 110°C (230 F) during those high speed runs The engine has been slightly unbalance after starting at the racetrack. But this is only at idle Speed Unfortunately I have no information about what is really going on yet?

I guess its possible that the engine was not made to spec. I look forward to seeing pics of the rebuild process!

On the highway, many chief vehicles (Audi, Mercedes, BMW and Porsche) have afflicted me from behind. And it was very nice to see how quickly they disappeared in the rearview mirror. I myself have the "Z" moved with the STILLEN SC in the last 3 1/2 years just for fun. Swiss Alps, rides with GT-R's, racetracks and always at the limit. I have very well kept it. All 4,000 miles was made a complete service. It was aware that at some point something could happen.

Dang that sucks. Usually blue smoke indicates fried piston rings, but there has been several occassions where it was come from valve seals. I never had either luckily (I don't mean that in a bad way)

Sorry to hear the issues bud... try contacting Abbey Motorsport in England, or Monstaka in France, they might have the engine parts in stock and might save you on import taxes and shipping. Just mention Alex from Real Auto Dynamics and they should be able to take care of you Good luck!

no worries mate.. I've worked with Mark (owner) @ Abbey on numerous z33/z34 builds, as well as Charles (owner) @ Monstaka as well! Both know their stuff with these cars and are in the same supply chain as my facility Keep us posted!
