Boosted Performance V 2.0 turbo list

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is that time of the year....:)

The fabrication machine has been fired up and is working at full capacity on producing the all new Boosted Performance V 2.0 twin scroll turbo kits. At this time, I have started the production of 12 complete kits, and I hope that this is enough to satisfy the immediate demand.

I have updated the kit list details:

Complete twin scroll kit: $7,150 + paypal fee

Tuner kit: $6,090 + paypal fee (includes everything listed except fuel pump, injectors, fuel relay kit and UpRev)

-Precision 6266 750hp twin scroll turbo, T4 1.15 a/r turbine housing
-Large vertical flow intercooler (25”x9”x3.5” core)
-750cc Bosch EV14 fuel injectors with plug’n play pig tails
-340lph fuel pump (support up to 650whp)
-Fuel pump relay harness (only standard with this kit)
-Exa 12V turbo scavenge pump (pug'n play)
-Tial Q BOV
-Tial MV-S waste gates
-UpRev tuner with base map
-NEW upgraded 3" charge pipes
-3” 304 stainless down pipe (built to work with the F.I dual 2.5” exhaust system)
-Tig welded, powder coated, aluminum intercooler piping
-30 row oil cooler kit
-Thermostatic oil sandwich plate

-JWT oil pan spacer (+1qt oil capacity)
-GTR spark plugs (gapped)
-Air filter
-Stainless T-bolt clamps
-Silcione hoses
-Plug'n play scavenge pump harness
-304 stainless steel tig welded exhaust manifold (Heavy duty 11 gauge pipe)
-304 stainless brackets and hardware
-Drill/tapp/barb for manifold vacuum/boost source
-OEM oil filter
-Crack case breather filters
-Vaccum hose for wastegates and BOV
-RTV, Teflon tape
-All hardware needed for a coplete install
-Detailed installation manual

SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BUY ANYTHING EXTRA IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE INSTALL ON YOUR OWN.

(You will have to purchase oil locally for the install)

I know that there has been a lot of PM’s sent my way about these kits, but this is over a 6-8 month span, and for some, plans to boost their cars change.

So, I would like to make an official list. This list would mean that you are 100% committed, and are able to send a $4,000 deposit via PayPal. Once the deposit is received/cleared, I will be sending the following items to you within one month:

--Intercooler
--6266 T4 1.15 a/r billet turbo with the new SP compressor cover (unless an upgrade is made)
--Tial Q BOV
--Tial MV-S Wastegates
--Exa scavenge pump
--Oil pan spacer (with RTV) so you can install this before hand
--Oil cooler kit with hoses and thermostat (can be installed independently of the kit)
--Crank case breather filters with hardware
--Fuel injectors (750cc)
--UpRev tuner cable
--Fuel pump with in tank adapter kit (from Charles at Cj-Motorsports)

With those items out the door, I will be working on fabricating all the piping and getting it ready to go out. Once that is complete and packed up, a detailed balance owing email will be sent to you. Tracking number will be provided within 48 hours of final balance being paid through PayPal.

Target for completion of all the fabrication is end of January, which means that shipping target date is beginning of February. There is always a chance of slight delays, but I will do my absolute best to stay on course, and ship everything out in a timely manner.

So, if you are on board with the above, please let me know and your name will be on the official list once the deposit is received.

What I will need from you via PM:

Full name:
Full ship to address:
Email:
Phone number: (needed for the parts coming from me)

I will also have 4 V 1.5 kits ready to go before the end of this month, so if anybody is interested in those please let me know. The only difference between this kit and the new V 2.0 is the turbo compressor cover (3" inlet and 2" outlet vs 4" inlet and 2.5" outlet) everything else is 100% the same.

Sasha

Do those of use just looking for the V1.5 upgrade need to be added to the list or do you have that list elsewhere? If so, put me on it

As soon as the pipes come back from the powder coater I will be ready to ship those out. So that is a separate list.

zguynate 10-01-2014 02:02 PM

Where is the list and details on the 1.5 upgrade? Also will that upgrade contain the 3in charge pipes? Sorry, I'm not trying to off-topic this thread, I'm just curious.

Boosted Performance 10-01-2014 02:08 PM

Will post that in the other thread. It is in the works. Pipes are almost ready.

Boosted Performance 10-01-2014 04:05 PM

Great response so far through pm's. ..will get back to all you guys later today.

Sasa, is that a typo in the first post. The first half of the post stats that the kit comes with a 6266 turbo. Then the second half of the list says 6766. Or did a misread something?

That was a typo, now corrected.

Also, looks like 4 kits are gone now. Will put together a list tomorrow.

Boosted Performance 10-04-2014 01:29 PM

Aside from the 12 version 2.0 kits that I am currently taking deposits on, I will have 4 complete Version 1.5 kits ready rather fast, since these are already 90% complete.

The only difference between the two kits will be the turbo compressor cover. Everything else will be the same.

Once I have six official deposits, I will post the list. Looks like this should happen later next week.

I have been working very hard on these the last three days, and I'm making good progress. The new V 2.0 manifolds are a lot more difficult and time consuming to build compared to the V 1.0 because they are built out of thick pipe (11 gauge). Stainless does a lot of funky stuff when being welded, so these are being done in even more stages than the V 1.0. I am taking extra care with these and really taking my time to ensure they are perfect.

There are going to be some nice builds coming up, and I am sure some great numbers will be posted as a result. The twin scroll will show it's true colour on these built engines.

IMO you should be boosted shop of the year. Cost, service, and efficiantcy rolled into one. Keep it up. I'll need you on my next build. That's going to be the next Gen Z.

Cell 10-12-2014 10:32 PM

Sasha, you should have a build number engraved on each header you make. Would kind of have a nice cool touch from you.

elperuano 10-12-2014 10:45 PM

I like that idea. Should put some type of logo up Sasha.

Thank you for the kind words. I try my best to take care of every customer...looking forward to your build.

Yeah, I have thought about a logo and a numbering system. I just get focused on quality, and overlook things like this. Def. Something to think about.

On the other hand, I am getting the hang of this new manifold..

I think you should simply invest in a few good number punch thing where you can smash it with a hammer and number them. As for the special signature, why not a REAL SIGNATURE? Hand held engravers are cheap. You just put your abbreviation SS or John Handcock or whatnot, smash ## or whatever and that's that. That keeps your hand made part completely hand made. Personally signed for a personal touch sounds good to me.

Highly doubt there ever will be one. Compared to the MT that AT is massive. Just not enough room down there for the turbo and all the piping.

I have number punches, and I could stamp the T4 flange for sure. Funny you mention the signature..I had a VQ35DE customer request that on the charge pipes in the engine bay. I signed it, and then it was clear coated.

This particular customer ended up making almost 900WHP on E85, using a 7675 T4 .96 a/r (non twin scroll) Precision turbo....at 27psi :)

Correct, the A/T is just massive, and takes up so much valuable room under the car.

I'm excited to see a V2 kit come in for tuning. We love the earlier kits as do our customers.

A bit of an update...

For those that have sent deposits, I just wanted to say thank you for your business, and the compliments on this kit through PM'S.

There is still a couple of you I need to get back to with some details....and I will do that in the next day or so. I really like to take the time and make sure I get all the details with each customer. It makes the experience much smoother for everybody.

I have placed an order for all the oil cooler oil lines today, so once those are in I will start sending some goodies out to those of you that are eager to get going on the installs can get some stuff out of the way.

All the oil pan spacers arrived today, and I have started on the oil return ports. These will be welded like so:

On a more serious note. I learned so much from the build and other BP members were so helpful it's only fair I share my experience. That and I just get giddy when others take the plunge to go Boosted!

For sure, every person that has installed a BP kit (and there has been almost 100) have said that it was a great experience. There is something to be said about the pride you feel after completing a turbo kit install like this, and then put down 500whp+.

You guys/gals need to leave the man alone so he can get my new toy finished and shipped to me. I want to feel this, "pride" you speak of.
