Well, it is almost time to start shipping these kits. I am in Atlanta this week for work, but before leaving I did manage to get a lot of work done. Just need to finish up the recirc tubes...about a days worth of work. If all goes well and as planed, the first kits should be going out the first week of February.

And It's Febuary...I plan to install the kit in March. I have put in a few PTO days for that month so I should have a few long runs of days off in a row to do the install... :happydance::excited:

Sasha, payment is standing by for your word  can't wait lol

This week I am focusing on all the small, but very important stuff. Making sure that everything is welded solid, nothing is obstructing the oxygen sensor bungs, assembling the exhaust sections of the kits to make sure everything fits nicely...like so:....ect

Looks Great but man that's a lot of piping...

Still less piping and more efficient than any other single turbo kit...for both the 350z and 370Z :). Remove the recirculation pipes and it looks a whole lot different. That is probably the most deceiving part.

that extra 02 bung after the exhaust housing for a wideband?

Looks pretty easy to convert to a open dump if you felt like it. >=)

Yes, the bung on the down pipe is for a wideband, and it is very easy to convert to open dump set-up.

TopgunZ 02-02-2015 11:36 PM

It can all be put together and installed in a couple hours and is easy to get to. Much easier than some crammed engine bay for a top mount.

Neb question but, any performance advantage to open dump?

Less backpressure means easier breathing. Air in air out means power.

Especially with the new V2 pipe routing. I haven't gotten it yet (v1.5 upgrade) but it has to be much easier than the old one lol. That was the hardest part for me.

It is definitely easier. None of the coupler t-bolts are as hard as the one on the turbo in the V1.0 setup. And you can clock the turbo inplace now so you know you have it perfect. It took me longer to remove the V1.0 IC piping than it did to install the V1.5 piping

Gentlemen, time for another update....

I had a bit of a setback earlier this week....rolled/sprained my right ankle playing some pick-up ball. Two days on crutches, a lot of ice, and trying to keep it elevated. It has been badly swollen the entire time, but I am now able to walk without too much pain. Still limping badly, but can get around.

So, the last two days have been spent in the shop. Everything is fabricated/built and checked against the jigs for the last time. I am now piling all the items on a shelf, things like drill bits, taps, teflon tape, breather filters, fuel pump kits, gaskets, oil filters...ect. Once boxing starts, I will be able to grab one item from each "pile" and everybody will get everything they need for a smooth install.

I did run in to a bit of an issue. The fuel injectors that were sent to me were supposed to be sent with plug'n play pigtails. One end fits on the new injectors, and the other end plugs on to the OEM fuel injector clip. In the picture below, this would be the piece on the left. However, what was in the package is the adapter on the right.

It has the connector for the new injectors, but nothing on the other end. This means that the customer would have to cut the OEM clip off the injector harness, and splice this one in. I don't like that. So, I have just sent an email to my supplier asking for the plug'n play pigtails to be sent as soon as possible. Hope to see them next week.

I have had this package since December, but only opened it now, so this would be my fault for not checking as soon as it arrived.

Tomorrow I will be labelling all the IC pipes and oil lines.. so everything is very close to being shipped out.

In the original post I have estimated to shipping these kits at the beginning of this month...looks like the is a slight delay, but should not be too bad. I do appreciate your patience.

Early next week you will receive an email with an up to date work order, and other details as some of you have opted for turbo blankets and heat wrap. The work order will also have the up to date payment details, and balances.

Spec Jay 02-07-2015 11:52 PM

Thanks for the update. I didn't know you were selling blankets too. I'd like to opt for that if it's not too late, if it is could you direct me to where I can order it?

Oh and here's to a speedy recovery
