Can't wait to see these new round of build threads pop up:tup:

SlowZ 03-05-2015 07:19 PM

Mine came today my brother said. I gave my brother cash and UPS won't accept cash or cards only checks. Awesome

SlowZ 03-05-2015 08:06 PM

Called UPS back and the check has to be made out to the shipper. I also can't pull up any info on my package because I was not given a tracking number for it.

Boosted Performance 03-05-2015 08:17 PM

UPS should have emailed tracking info to every customer. I will check up in this first thing in the morning. It also sounds like UPS in the US works very different than here for some reason. Up here they will take any firm of payment.

SlowZ 03-06-2015 01:23 AM

So everything is set up and they will be doing another drop off attempt tomorrow. I have a check ready and I told my brother he needs to keep his asś at home lol

SlowZ 03-06-2015 11:00 PM

If they are not there, I'll get a set out to you, and you'll have them next week.

Spec Jay 03-07-2015 04:34 PM

Mine were wrapped up with the fuel pump and injector jumpers

What color spring are you guys using? I was thinking of going with the Yellow spring on our MV-S waste gate to run 7.25lbs. Then I started thinking that the red spring would be a safer default boost pressure in case anything happens to my electronic boost controller. 5.80 lbs of boost can also be a safe valet mode in case I ever have to valet the car. I would simply turn my EBC off and instant low boost.

I'm running yellow springs in the wastage and 11psi springs in my BOVs.

I love the quality of this kit. It was well worth the wait and every penny spent. The detailed user guide is amazing for any level installer. I am very glad I did not take another route. All products are legit with no shortcuts. I sat there in awe while organizing the kit.

Props to Sasha who really took him time to create this kit from thin air and make it more than complete.

Gajewski 03-11-2015 07:03 PM

I'm going to run the yellow springs to start. Haven't thought about going lower though.

How is your bov sounding? I had mad turkey gobble with my 11psi on my old 350z setup. I put the 9lb in on this though.

Go with what is recommended from sasha or your afrs will be all out of whack. Could even be dangerous. Pig rich.

Boosted Performance 03-11-2015 07:29 PM

Just remember, you will need to get your car tuned before going in to boost.

Will I be safe to stay under 3.5k for 150 miles?

My BOV did not come with springs. The box only had the BOV, a clamp, brown o0ring and a banjo thing. The slot in the foam cutout where the spring is suppose to go still has the foam piece in it. Do I use the extra ones form the wastegate? I'm a turbo noob and did not know there were suppose to be any springs in it.

Gajewski 03-11-2015 09:36 PM

The BOV came with the 11 psi spring installed already. Do not put the wastegate springs in the BOV.

Should be good to go with the BOV as it sits once you install the banjo bolt and O-ring.

Yes, that is perfectly fine.

The BOV comes with the spring installed. It tells you on the box that there is an 11psi spring installed. This is the proper spring for the vacuum these engines run at when idling.

YzGyz 03-11-2015 10:04 PM

Thanks everyone.

GaleForce 03-11-2015 11:09 PM

FWIW, my BOV's came with "un-painted" springs (10psi).

I noticed the BOV's would creep open during idle. After talking to someone at Treadstone, they recommended I run the "Yellow" 11psi springs. $80 later the BOV's stay closed at idle.

Note- Tial customer service is horrible.

Go with the yellow spring. The springs have a tolerance and if you are on the low side with the red spring it's possible you won't make enough boost with your EBC for you power levels. The EBC is limit d to twice WG pressure

Just going to repost this. This is the fuel pump voltage booster relay kit, included in every BP turbo kit:

if I'm understanding this right, I need to find the power wire from the harness that plugs into the fuel pump. I would then cut it in two. The old wire that would have connected to the fuel pump connect to the green. Red would connect to the end that is still connected to the CJM pump? ..... Me not feeling so hot about finding and cutting oem wire unless I'm 100% sure of what I'm doing.

The harness that is on top of the fuel pump cover, there will be a pink wire (that is power) You cut it in the middle, then you take the Red wire and you splice it to the side that leads to the fuel pump. Then you take the green wire and then splice that into the pink wire closest to the harness.

That is what I thought. Just make make sure we are on the same book.

Is it possible to run e85 with the supplied injectors and fuel pump?

Don't think so. At least not at any power level that would be worth it. My tuner says 1000cc is the minimum for E

SlowZ 03-20-2015 11:14 PM

Figured as much. I want to switch over to e85 so I guess I'll have to sell the fueling stuff and get a CJM fuel system and new injectors. I should have gotten the tuner kit oh well. Back to the drawing board

Have you opened the injectors and fuel pump yet? Sasha might be willing to give you a return credit. Can't hurt to ask

Everything is still wrapped up how I received it. This whole build is bugging me lol I can never stick to one thing, I'm always changing my mind. I just don't want to start installing stuff and then wanting to do e85 or something else and not being happy with the car, id rather get everything situated and make sure I'm happy with what I have and take a few more months to obtain all that.

jwick 03-21-2015 12:03 AM

I completely understand. The build consumed several months of my life before I even pulled the trigger on the kit.

Yeah it doesn't help that I have people constantly texting me if the car is done or when it will be done. Hell, most of my friends are more excited about the car than I am. It's weird but some days I'm really motivated to finish the car and other days I can walk by the turbo kit and not even take a second glance at it

Go with ID1000. You dont need anything else to run E if you stay at or under 500whp. But the cjm s0 would be a better route.

Spec Jay 03-21-2015 01:44 PM

does the little rubber sleeve go around the fuel pump? looks like a black koozie.

YzGyz 03-21-2015 02:20 PM

It's suppose to but I did not use it. it's don't have much space once everything is hooked up.

I want it to be at minimum 550whp. I barely drive the car as it is so when I do drive it I want as much power as I can get out of it.

Yeah you aren't doing that on E85 with the 340 and 750ccs

My only other option was to get a pump gas tune and then a VP 103 race gas tune. The shop that sells it is literally 5 minutes away from me and they do all my nitrous stuff. Realistically I want a 550whp pump gas tune and a 600whp+ race gas tune. Am I asking for too much or is that completely doable
