Will Stillen Supercharger & G3 intakes Connect?

I am interested in the Stillen S/C but since they are apparently still being quiet, my build plans have become a total mess and I'm still undecided. I'd like to

Default Will Stillen Supercharger & G3 intakes Connect?

I am interested in the Stillen S/C but since they are apparently still being quiet, my build plans have become a total mess and I'm still undecided. I'd like to order the G3's but have no idea if it would be a waste of money if they don't connect. If someone knows any info or if someone from stillen could comment, that would be great.

If you are serious about any FI, don't get any intake mods. If you just so happen to buy the intakes, I don't think it would be hard at all to resell them.

Ya I think if I did buy the intakes, stillen is going to pull some bs and say they will not connect, i really wish stillen would chime in. What stuff should I get to start preping the car for the S/C?

2.5-2.75" true dual CBE, HFC's, Big Brake kit (I highly recommend Rotora, loved em on my G), Polyurethane motor mount bushings, a good set of coilovers (HKS's are the shyt, im a fan of the Tein Pro series also), wider rear tires (you'll need em), Sway bars (loved my Hotchkiss's) these, and not necessarily in that order, should set you up nicely for a Supercharger. Long tube headers even, when they come out that is.

I want to get the F.I. Headers when they come out, I did not know motor mounts were out for our cars, what's the advantage of installing those vs. stock?

My take is this:

Under load, your engine will "rotate" in the engine bay. Aftermarket mounts will limit this movement. Essentially, torque is lost during this rotation and if it is limited through the use of aftermarket motor mounts, more torque will be available at the rear wheels. In addition, I wouldn't say you are going to get super torque numbers at the wheels either. Lastly, aftermarket motor mounts are than likely a little stronger than the stock units.

Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.

for sure LT headers and F.I catback would be a good thing to have....
hold off on the intakes...

as for BBK's, the stock sport ones are good enough...... tons of TT'ed G's kept the sport ones and it does the job well....
just change the rotors to slotted ones

4 piston brakes are ok for street use, however if you plan on tracking, they are prevalent to fade quick. 6POTs are the bare minimum for prolonged track use.

I don't plan on tracking or changing the brakes, if anything I am going to switch to slotted rotors. Since F.I. Is the only company that's going to offer LT headers at the moment, I don't think I have any other choices. Anyone else notice that stillen has not commented on this forum in awhile?

We should know soon enough. Go to stillen's website and check out the blog post from Kyle about the Open House. Looks like they were shooting for Oct. 17th, but things got delayed. Should be before May according to the post. It better be before Halloween!

The number of pistons in a brake-caliper has absolutely nothing to do with fade resistance.

this is true, good pads make or break your brakes, i got that, however, more pistons equal more clamping power distributed over the rotor, which is great for late braking.
