These particular GTX will flow a bit more, but youre right the T67 25G is pretty serious, especially when you have 2 of them.

I have several supporting parts! I have a pretty unique build going on and will be excited to post most of it up here once more work as been done. At this point in time its just a pile of fancy parts. I have some cool parts to machine and fabricate over the next couple months to tie it all together.

Right now we are focusing just on the intake manifold as I have a lot of people asking for one and I also may or may not have to invest a lot of cash into it if we decide to cast more of it rather than billet or fabricated.

If it were me. I'd drop in the built motor before attempting anything with these. I mean, your going to have to have the motor pulled anyways. Save the headaches of doing it twice.

Plus like I've said before. If your motor lets go it could take those fresh turbines out along with it.
My sights are set outside of the Z world. For the last 3 years I have driven what I felt was the most realistic and usable high-ish power 370z that most of my customers can relate to or will desire to have. Now I am going to risk losing some of that realistic usability and the daily driver characteristics for something competitive on a universal level and something that will start providing the real world insight I need to determine if the chassis is going to be able to keep up with my long-term goals.

August 2013 I gave it another psi of boost and some more timing, and it made 586rwhp at 9.1 psi.

It really was plenty for this car. I daily drive this car. Admittedly... not as much this year because I bought a motorcycle a couple months ago and have been really enjoying it. However, the 370z is still my ONLY CAR so ya it gets driven regularly.

Well anyway... I kept seeing all you guys around here putting like 12 - 14 psi into your cars now. It really got me thinking - "what would my old lady do with 12 psi of boost?"

So tonight I went to find out.

671 RWHP
520 TQ
12.1 PSI BOOST - E85

100% Stock Engine - untouched
Greddy Twin 20G Turbo Kit w/ CJM modified wastegate setup
CJM S2SE Fuel System w/ Walbro 400 pump & ID1000cc Injectors
Greddy Dual 2.75" Exhaust
OS Giken Twin Clutch w/ RJM Pedal and Z Spd CSC
UpRev tuned by me - the only UpRev and the only E85 car I have ever tuned... so theres room for improvement!
HKS EVC6 Boost Controller
OEM GT-R Spark Plugs

I think that is everything I have done that is related to HP.
How many cars have you tuned before your own? Those are impressive numbers.

Also, I think that you are very close to what this engine can take. I'm no expert but I've seen a couple of TTs near the 700, I think one was 681hp when the rods decided to bend. Personally I think anything close to 7 is plenty of hp. But I guess when we have that kind of power for a while we always look for more.

For the UpRev system, the only car I have ever tuned is this one.

Before that, I have some EMS tuning experience, although it has never been a passion of mine. I generally try to avoid getting sucked into tuning on my friends cars. I owned a Dynojet chassis dyno for several years, and I would often tune piggybacks for people, but thats hardly tuning, and I wasnt doing any reflash stuff or anything. The first standalone I ever tuned was the HKS FCON V-Pro when I did the first US install of one in my 350z to test the PnP harness for HKS USA... but that system was amazing to tune and I had the stock engine record on that 350z in 6-7 pulls. I ran that system for the duration of ownership of that car.

So my EMS tuning experience and research is probably a lot further than the average enthusiast that does not tune or study it, but compared to professional EMS tuners, or even enthusiasts that spend a lot of time studying the topic, I am worthless.

That's still pretty awesome. How was the user interface for the uprev? Was it user friendly at all or would you recommend someone taking a class on it or at least taking a good amount of time to understand the fundamentals?

Uhm... I like it but its a little confusing on some things. I believe that has to do with the Nissan software itself being somewhat confusing and possibly not entirely understood.

Its a unique tuning experience and other than being familiar with target A/F and timing figures, its not really much like tuning other software I have tuned.

I would recommend tuning your car with it NA before boosting. By starting with a boosted car on 1000cc injectors, I struggled at first to get the car running well as my first UpRev attempt.

Thanks for those words of wisdom. I think I will try it NA first. I have read things about the VVEL being adjusted to unleash "hidden horses" that are covered up by Nissan intentionally, is there a way to adjust that timing as well? I also read it can completely destroy the engine if not done properly or even if its tampered with at all.

Ive pretty much ignored the VVEL system as I could not have asked my car to run more efficiently than it already was.

If there is a version of the UpRev software that includes the ability to make VVEL system adjustments, it not the version they gave me.

I suspect there was some torque to gain in my setup by playing with the midrange timing and VVEL, but I didnt want any more torque or spool up anyway - all that would do is spin the tires more or bend a rod.

Yeah I'm sure there is some software out there for the VVEL but seems like its not worth the hassle. Sounds like the cons outweigh the pros on that.

If swapping engines is something you can do in your back yard. Purchasing a stock block from a tow yard every few years maybe the way to go lol. GTX35's on stock block at 12 psi is crazy power.

CJM fuel return and 12 psi tune on 93 octane maybe my fix for a car I drive 4 times a month.
