UpRev allows you to tune VVEL. My tuner does it in every tune. I don't know the specifics. |

I am not any sort of authorized UpRev dealer or anything such as that. But they were very kind in helping me get everything going perhaps since I am a vendor of some sort. |

Im not big on teasers, not anymore. Because it usually bites me in the ***. As a smaller company, I am pretty slow at new product R&D.
But I havent said much about my car lately. Today is the first nice weather day here in Chicago-area. Some may think that we all crank away hard during the down-months of the winter, but that's only partially true. Many of us eventually grow tired of it, and it starts to really slow us down and hurt our drive. Well its going to hit 70 degrees today and I want to live! Cant wait to start a new thread about my car in a couple weeks and show you all what we have been up to in our spare time. |

Not going to be a problem with the current record... Looking at the timeslips, my car already had it if had a clean pass but I failed it as a driver that day.
But the problem for us 6MTs, Cy's auto car is going to do a bit better yet when its trans isnt slipping the entire way down the track. With 600-620rwhp, a ~3400# 7AT 370z with a 1.6-1.7 60' should run about a 10.2 - 10.4. It has every advantage... it has more gearing off the line, closer ratios to make more use of the engine power, and shifts faster than a person can. So until I put a built motor in my car, I might have to just settle for quickest 6MT rather than quickest overall. I dont know if even 700rwhp with a 6MT is going to beat what that auto car can do in the 1/4. Looking towards the future, its probably going to remain a constant that the 7ATs are generally outperforming the 6MTs in the 1/4, but that the outright fastest cars will be 6MTs because its likely we will be exceeding the power the 7AT can handle.

We are building it around those big boys as they are what I will run on my built motor and we need to make sure they fit as an option. I have been thinking about picking up a pair of smaller turbos to keep running on the stock engine for a little longer though, and also to double check fitment and see if we need to make an alternate downpipe jig for smaller turbos.

That would be correct! We will be selling everything we build for my car. But we have no plans to put together a turn-key / cookie-cut package... so we are not looking to get into that particular race. Our stuff will be for entirely personalized builds and tuning and etc.
