Actual reviews/results on Stillen SC

No, on the SC it is a more gradual pull than a turbo which is more instant at a specific RPM. With the SC you run up to about 3k

With the SC you run up to about 3k or so and then start building boost, but boost is built equally (for the most part) over the rest of the power band. So it becomes a very linear graph, it becomes just a 'faster' Z.

No lag at all and here is my dyno showing showing what dreamer is saying about it being a linear graph.

I'm not being a smartazz, but if you are concerned with "lag", you should really consider riding in one of each. There is no lag in either one. At 3500 rpms and below, they both felt stock to me. Then from 3500 rpms on, the supercharger continues to pull harder and harder to redline. But the turbo from 3500 on kicks you in the azz and gets sideways making you question your sanity. You can tailor the powerband of a turbo to suit your driving style. But, until you rebuild your motor, you still have an 11:1 3.7L V6 getting you from idle to boost.

Twin Turbo's for me one day, hence my user name....LOL I am not even going to waste my funds on intakes or such. I am going to get my warranty's worth first though. I gave it up when I modded my diesel, not this time.

That is the one piece of advice I try to give people who just got the car and plan to go boost in the future.
Sit down and plan out what you want, no need to double pay for intake or labor, I went through all the NA stuff and threw money away in the end because I added a SC.

Now scrap it all and go turbo! All the cool kids are doing it.

I think the next car I buy needs to be fast off of the showroom floor.

I don't really need any more power, if I do anything more with my SC it might be a smaller pulley (though with the whole GTM fiasco that might not happen) and e85.
I actually have a turbo car, just sitting & needs some work, if I want that feeling.

No way, I like power delivery of a supercharger for the track. My next car will be a C7 Z06 but I have to wait until the price comes down some, I might have to wait until the C8 comes out

It was more a joke about wasting money. Not s/c Vs turbo. I have had bolt ons, Supercharger, and now Turbo. There was some very good advice above about picking ONE and sticking with it.
