Do you think I should switch tuners? The guy seems to know what he is doing. I have been installing turbos and superchargers on my cars for over 20 years. I have never experienced issues like I am having with this kit.

Yes I understand that heat soak is a problem, what I was saying is that I moved the heat exchanger to the front of the bumper support, so it is away from the radiator.

YES!! |
There is no fuel leak in engine compartment. Do you think it could be at the pump?

That crap small heat exchanger is to thin. I thought from day one it wasn't right..
BTW When I get this kit again that's the first thing I'm swapping out. :) |

Did you turn down the fan settings so they come on sooner and harder? It helped to keep the car from pulling timing on mine a lot.

Agreed on the heat exchanger. I called Stillen when I first installed the kit and asked them about the mounting position. They said don't worry, it works fine. I knew they were full of it. Just like when they said their tune would work, just like when they said I could use the same belt on the 9psi pulley.

Not sure what he is doing with the fan settings.
|
Ask him and if he says he didn't touch them or doesn't know how to go find a new tuner. The stock fan settings are sucky for hot temps.Since you are in Texas and see cooler weather than we do here I would do two maps, one for hot and one for cold weather.

Depending on the Mustang dyno's settings, it can read much much lower than Dynojets. There is no conversion percentage. I think your 600cc injectors should be able to make around 450rwhp with gasoline on a dynojet with a centrifugal supercharger and no return fuel system. Its very possible you are already hitting that if you made 388 on a Mustang.
