Default Gauge selection

So I'm currently installing my boosted performance turbo kit on my car and was wondering, what size gauges fit perfectly into the current oil temp, volt, and clock locations. This is the set up that I wish to go with but I'm not sure what sizes to get. All help will be appreciated!

52mm. There are DIY threads about doing just that. Also search for Galeforce's a-pillar thing.

Thank you sir

I am looking into a custom multi gauge for us. The options are nearly endless so I need to get it narrowed down. I was thinking a multi gauge for FI guys, and a multi gauge for NA guys. I would also have an option for guys that want to go all out. I'm talking a 4.3" screen in the upper cubby location displaying up to 6 readings on a screen at one time, with the ability to page through to more screens, reading.

Think there would be any interest?

This is an example for the 52mm multi gauge for FI guys,

First...what is the lead time for your pillar Galeforce? I may wind up with a set of four Defi's this winter. Not sure yet. But need to consider your lead time in to my plans if I go there. 1 pod, standard.

Second...Custom info on the navi? Hot. I really want to start my own gauge company and specialize in multi-gauges. Dials, not screens. All the multigauge dials I have seen are ugly. Why can't Defi broaden their selection. I really have a love-hate things with those guys.

You know what!!!!!! I just realized that you can display reverse camera info on your mirror...see where I am going? That would be cool. >.>

I've been pretty happy with my GReddy Multi-gauge. It runs boost on the dial and any two I select (oil temp, oil press, coolant temp, fuel press, voltage, EGT, I think that is all of them. Oh boost if you want digital too) on the LCD screen. It stores peaks and will give you audio warning. The only draw back to it is it will only alarm what is being displayed. Oh and it's a 62mm pod, which is the only one in existence. Good news Mr. Gale already has a template for that size

Although they stopped production of it for future release of a replacement.

And it's expensive as hell! I was looking into the Greddy, but the cost and all the things you mentioned turned me off. If they had their new version out already, I might have considered it. But I'm not about to drop $500 to display oil temp and pres. on the same gauge, when it is the wrong size and already EOL. Instead, I spent 300 to do it with the two NEW Tanabe gauges.

That being said, if I ever went turbo, I could see using the Greddy for boost, IAT and EGT on the same gauge.

You are correct about the video display while the car is moving issue, but there are wiring hacks that can be done to prevent that problem.

I'm interested. Would it be capable of running dual widebands?

I'm currently looking at the Defi ACU with their ZD screen.

It can be configured to do what ever you want. Yes it can do dual widebands.

I'm very familiar with Defi stuff.

In for the cubby option.

Welcome to the BP club brother!

And most of us installed it in our garages, so it can definitely be done. Any questions, hit us up. We are more than willing to assist.

Yep, I was the first to DIY the Boosted Performance kit, and on jack stands. Easy. I think most of the BP kits have been DIY'd, so there is a lot of experience on the forum. Like jwick said, if you run into any snags, hit us up.

Thanks guys!!!
I'm actually already almost done. Ran into the problem with the factory oil cooler since mines a 2012 But I got around it. Nearly done, vacuum lines and fuel pump, plus reflash the ecu is all that's left now. Before I started the kit though, I did my z1 motor/tranny mounts, headers, clutch and flywheel so that's was fun on jack stands haha. That was the hardest parts of the whole build. The BP kit is the easier part.

This would only work for people with Navi, but, old Android phone + bluetooth OBD reader + torque app + aux video input in the storage area.

Also, with your Defi gauges, how did you deal with the dash resetting every time you turn off the car? I'm guessing something is wrong with the constant power. I tried a ton of different wiring combinations on the triple gauge harness and I couldn't fix the issue.
