But I'm not about to drop $500 to display oil temp and pres. on the same gauge, when it is the wrong size and already EOL. Instead, I spent 300 to do it with the two NEW Tanabe gauges.

That being said, if I ever went turbo, I could see using the Greddy for boost, IAT and EGT on the same gauge.

You are correct about the video display while the car is moving issue, but there are wiring hacks that can be done to prevent that problem.
I just bought the new tanabe gauges at R/T tuning yesterday and they are definitely the sexiest gauges on the market right now IMHO

As for cost. It was about the same as any other setup combination I looked at assuming you buy good gauges, which is the only way to go when boosting. Why spending $10-15k and then cheap out for a couple hundred savings on gauges.
I'm with you on all of that. I have an oil cooler ready to go, but the general consensus was to not run one without a pressure gauge, so out came the stock gauges and in went aftermarket. I was hoping for a dual pressure / temp setup, but the only gauge that worked for me was the Greddy and I was ultimately unhappy with it. If it were 52mm and/or not EOL, my story would be different.

Yes. I have the oil pressure and temp. I am considering getting the AFR, since all three of the stock gauges have to be swapped.

Those look pretty decent. So little innovation in the gauge arena! Looking forward to seeing what GaleForce comes up with.

I'm looking into running the Defi Advance control unit. Off that, run a Advance ZD screen with oil pressure, oil temp, and fuel pressure. Then in the 3 dash spots, run a Defi Boost gauge off the ACU, then two stand alone widebands.

Welcome to the BP club brother!

And most of us installed it in our garages, so it can definitely be done. Any questions, hit us up. We are more than willing to assist.

Yep, I was the first to DIY the Boosted Performance kit, and on jack stands. Easy. I think most of the BP kits have been DIY'd, so there is a lot of experience on the forum. Like jwick said, if you run into any snags, hit us up.

Back on topic, for those who want multi gauges and can afford the room for a screen, this is a sample of what I'm looking at.

It's fully customizable, the above is a sample layout. You can display more sensor readings on other "pages". I'm also looking into having this work with the factory Nav screen.

So what is the back bone running this setup (raspberry pi)? I would assume OBD2 connection and then extra connections for boost and pressures?

No OBDII, sending units for whatever you want to monitor.

Here is some more info,

The gauge makes use of a joystick to enable the user to swap between the different modes and readings. It even could be programmed for you to hold the peak values for each reading.

Do you want to be notified if you exceed a maximum or go lower than a minimum reading? You can have your gauge with an LED to warn you in such situations.

The most important feature of this LCD is that it can be customised to any look by the user. Peak values can be set to whatever the users desire within the settings menu. LED warning light can be turned on or off. Within the settings menus, the user can choose which readings to be shown in the gauge mode in case the sensor is not available at the time, either not present or getting changed.

Do you want to use your multi gauge also to control your car components as well as monitor? Then this unit can be programmed to keep an eye on temperatures to start your radiator fan on low speed or high speed! Very useful when on track days.

You get that to work with the nav screen then put me on the list. That's a must have!

Yep, factory nav screen is what I want. And OBDII would be amazing because it would save me the cost of many sender units.
