Quick question, why did you decide to make the intercooler tubing reach furthur into the intercooler? (The top part is not the traditional intercooler in the sense that the exit tubing is closer to the center). Wouldn't this cause a reduction in efficiecy?

Great question! This was a major design consideration when developing the system. In order to keep the stock crash bar and retain the OEM level of fitment and finish we designed the intercooler as you can see in the renderings. We also use a shorter and more direct pipe which keeps bends to a minimum and increases overall efficiency and power.

This was the optimal design during our flow testing and the ability to keep the stock factory crash bar and retain the complete OEM fit and finish is a huge win!

Awesome question!

Live on the east coast and interested?

I do. Boston MA, Pm me some details. :)

what are you guys using for boost controlers? the efr's have the solenoid built into the turbo don't they? So the boost controller would need to be compatible with the twin borg warner solenoids right?

Always great to see quality options enter the market. I look forward to the arms race between Fast Intentions quarter mile times and this kit.

Good Job AAM, Finally you did it, I was waiting for that.

Are you guys going to make upgrade component for 7AT since your kit will fit the automatic cars?

roplusbee 07-19-2014 07:00 AM

Borg Warner.......I didn't see that one coming. I am truly excited and sad at the same time. Both companies that I have suggested to everyone that decides to make the Forced Induction plunge, have released a TT kit AND I have the Greddy. So much irony there, lol!

Great Job guys and I look forward to seeing the results. I only ask that you don't do what the ones who will remain unnamed did.......

We can most definitely work out an aggressive sponsorship if you plan on making this a goal for yourself utilizing our Twin Turbocharger System. PM me if seriously interested!

Nines would take a dedicated ALL Race effort. The engine can make the power, but VERY few would want to modify the cars to limit street use and be this capable.

I would submit an auto would be paramount. Built auto, of course.

Run before you sprint. I'm still wondering why the quickest 370Z is still almost two seconds slower than the quickest 350Z. I have no business being on the top of this VQ37VHR pyramid (at present), and my G37 wasn't even a lighter Z.

Good challenge. Tens: I want to see that done.
