I have an HR motor and on my daily commute, the temp reading on my CAMP2 hits around 230 deg F in Southern CA. The commute speeds range from stop and go to "pretty fast";) The oil feed restrictor to the turbos are VERY small (thousandths of an inch). The oil feed is meant to lubricate the bearings in the turbo. Cooling for the turbos are taken care of by the engine coolant. FWIW, my coolant temps run between 180 and 200 degrees F. |
