Mxp exhaust fit bp turbo kit?
Can anyone verify if my mxp exhaust will bolt up to the BP turbo, id like to stick with the mxp exhaust but if i have to i can sell the mxp to get a fast intentions exhaust.

I doubt it. You're two lead pipes would need to terminate in the exact location and rotation as the F.I. exhaust. Your best bet if you want to keep it is to ask Sasha to send that last section post downpipe unfinished and take it to a local shop for custom fit up.

I can also tell you that your exhaust is going to be the bottleneck in the system. Probably not an issue at stock block levels but you will fight to get the HP numbers guys are getting without running high TQ too.
I'm currently running the Stillen exhaust which other than being a singly 3" is very similar to your setup and the exhaust is definitely the bottleneck. The problem is the severe bends getting into and out of the muffler. |
they looked like they bolt up the same i compared pictures but wasnt sure

i imagine having a shop fab up a simple pipe from the turbo to your stock Y would be easy

I make the Y pipe, with the wastegate recirculated already, so it is very simple. Instead of welding the two 2-bolt flanges to the Y section, I just leave the pipes long. So when you take it to your local exhaust shop, all they do is cut these pipes to the correct length, and weld on two 2-bolt flanges.
Very simple task. |
Sasha's the man! Got it all covered.
