If your going to run the 9lb pulley you will need a shorter belt as the tensioner is at the end of it reach with the standard kit supplied belt. You will want a 7PK2635 belt. I discovered this yesterday.

Even when ordering with the 9lb pulley to start with? I haven't seen this mentioned before but will keep this in mind and check the belt when installing, did you start with the 8lb and get the 9lb supplied afterwards?

Bought the kit with 8lb pulley and before even starting the car I took the 8lb off and put the 8lb on. Stillen said I would need a new belt but we think the old on was allowing belt slip. New shorter belt on and the tension feels better. Still need to data log it to see if it was previously slipping and loosing boost.

While I'm getting everything organised guys, is there any specialist tools I'll need to do the install? basically anything to make the job a lot easier/faster, don't mind spending some $ on tools. I've got all the basic socket sets/jacks/jack stands/torque wrenches etc.
Any clip tools to remove the fuel pump? just a generic spark plug removal tool or is there a specific tool for the Z? what's a good A/F ratio gauge, anything to make use of the main screen to display this? |

Make sure you get the intake pipes lined up properly behind your front bumper. This caused huge issues with my tuning for a few months due to it not being lined up properly. If you have questions PM me =)
P.s. Enjoy ;-D (also running the 9lb pulley) |

my blue point and craftsman 14mm deep 12 point 3/8 sockets both work fine for plugs. he said he has standard socket sets so i assume he has one with a 14mm deep socket.
