Default Headwork

Hello everyone,

I am in need of some professional assistance or someone who can point to a person who is a professional or damn near it.

I have been building my motor for the last two years. Within those two years this motor has been nothing but a pain in the ***. To make this very long story short, I'm having a issue with the heads. Well more like the VVEL that controls the laddle, and having everything sync'd up perfectly. I have custom made valvetrain system for the car from Ferrera, and Jun exhaust cams. The heads are on the car, BUT can't sync up the vvel to the laddle.

I'm scratching my head in complete confusion and frustration trying to get this car up and running.

HAS ANYONE worked on this stuff or know who has worked on this stuff before?

Thanks in advance.

Him. He currently has his Z up for sale but he's a top notch dude and I'm sure will pass on any information he might be able to share. Can't promise he'll have your answers but never hurts to try.

what the hell is a laddel? like soup laddel? as per the vvel sync up did you shim the lifters correctly? Did you follow the non consult 3 repair procedure to reset the base position on the vvel sensors(search and download the fsm from here it is in chapter EM around page 350 or 450)? have you messed with any of the vvel adjustment screws(the tappet looking things) get back to me with that and I will see if I can figure out your problem.

Is it ladder? When the Japanese say it, sounds like laddle. Oops. I'll get back to you on that later today.

ahh the ladder assembly, yeah if you havent touched the tappet looking things on that piece all you have to do is choose the correct size followers for clearance(feeler gauge between the cam thingy and the lifter at valve closed position) and do the reset with a multimeter per factory service manual procedures.
